James Beaman is an award winning actor and master theatre teacher. His short film script, "T," explores the shadow life of an older gay man becoming hooked on crystal meth and sex. "T" is the Winner of the Hollywood Just4Shorts Competition 2018, and was awarded Third Place Finalist in the 2018 Big Apple Film Festival Short Screenplay Competition.

Beaman's feature screenplay, "The Girl in Green," is inspired by the true story of the infamous Helen Jewett Murder in 1830s New York. He has also written a short, inspired by the same story, entitled "In Helen's Room."

Beaman was commissioned to write a 10 minute play for the Zoom platform to be performed by members of American Actors UK. The piece, "Love and Art," will be performed live for an international viewing audience in August, 2020.
