This was my first time attending a festival for a film that I had directed. It was also my first time directing a narrative film. A lot of firsts, and Mindy and the Fiction Fest team delivered beyond my expectations. The event was wonderfully curated and filled with some really great panel discussions and networking events. I am beyond honored to have taken part in the inauguration of the festival and I hope to be invited back for a future film. Thanks Mindy and every one at Fiction Fest!

This was their first year holding Fiction Fest. Asides from a few minor first-year teething issues, it was a great experience. The films selected were well thought out and entertaining, the discussions held were excellent with meaningful information to take home, and the networking was excellent. Plus the staff running the festival were always present and good to talk to. It helped create a fun and inviting atmosphere. I can easily recommend this festival and would submit again.
