Fiction Fest, hosted at the respected Limelight Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, is a captivating film and screenplay festival dedicated to celebrating and spotlighting the intricate artistry, boundless innovation, and remarkable creativity that thrive within the realm of high-concept independent filmmaking. With a keen focus on the dynamic genres of Thriller, Horror, Sci-Fi, Action, Adventure, and Fantasy, our festival is a dedicated platform that aims to:

1. Celebrate Storytelling Excellence: We strive to honor the craft of storytelling by highlighting exceptional narratives that captivate, challenge, and inspire audiences. By focusing on high-concept genres, we encourage filmmakers to explore complex ideas and push the boundaries of traditional storytelling, but packaged in a high concept, commercial genre for increased breakout success potential.

2. Elevate Independent Filmmakers: Fiction Fest is committed to providing a platform for independent filmmakers to showcase their unique visions and storytelling abilities. We believe in promoting diverse voices and perspectives that might otherwise remain unheard in mainstream cinema. We focus on truly independent films with a preference of films with budgets under $1M.

3. Inspire Innovation: Fiction Fest seeks to inspire innovation within the realms of cinema. We encourage filmmakers to experiment with new techniques, technologies, and storytelling methods that can redefine the cinematic experience and contribute to the evolution of the industry.

4. Provide Networking Opportunities: Our festival offers a conducive environment for filmmakers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts to connect, collaborate, and share their knowledge. Through panel discussions, workshops, and Q&A sessions, we foster a sense of community and facilitate the exchange of ideas.

Fiction Fest is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the event for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening at the festival and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Fiction Fest from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

PREMIERE STATUS/WORKS IN PROGRESS: Feel free to submit any film regardless of premiere status, existing availability, or completion date. However, we do not accept works in progress. Films must be fully completed prior to submitting.
