Cannes International Shorts emphasizes on a vibrant programme of films that combines indie shorts of all genres in a variety of sections to compete and be recognized. The festival has a commitment to independent cinema’s ideals with a sound understanding of indie filmmaking possibilities.

Independent short films of all genres are accepted from all over the world. Our team will choose the honorable mentions and winners of each edition and promote the winners to film industry professionals and artists who are passionate about the language of cinema and arthouse films and scripts.

The Cannes International Shorts is an online festival dedicated to low-budget indie filmmakers, running as a bi-monthly event. The heart of the festival will be our scope of extraordinary film programming and creating the best competition for independent artists.
We adhere to the position that to create a coherent and interesting work does not require a large investment.

Rules & Terms

1- In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner.

2- Films must have been completed after 2017 in order to qualify for the Festival.

3- Any Foreign film that is not in English must have English subtitles.

4- All fees are non-refundable
