BASES:
CINEVERSATIL, Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes sobre Diversidad- Argentina ofrece una alternativa sobre concienciación en materia de diversidad sexual y afectiva a través de una fiesta cinematográfica que integra la exhibición no competitiva de narrativas audiovisuales LGBTIQ+ en formato cortometraje y las nuevas experiencias activistas.

Los objetivos específicos para 2023 son: a) realizar la muestra presencial de cortometrajes dedicados al triángulo rosa, b) realizar actividades de discusión y reflexión en torno a los cortometrajes distintas a los tradicionales cine debate o cine foro.

La duración de las obras será:
Hasta 20 minutos máximo para los cortometrajes incluyendo los créditos (aplican excepciones por criterios de calidad).

El formato aceptado para exhibición es en soporte digital para todos los casos. Pueden enviarse los cortos a través de FilmFreeway
Se aceptan cortometrajes en español o subtitulados en español preferiblemente. También se aceptan cortos en otro idioma con sus respectivos archivos de subtítulos en español o inglés (formato .srt).

No hay restricciones sobre las fechas de producción.
El cierre de la convocatoria para inscripción y envío de los trabajos se producirá en el momento que el jurado preliminar así lo considere (30 de mayo, 2023).
Para participar en la 13 edición del Festival, los directores/productores deberán entregar:
-Link de descarga del corto o versión descargable en la plataforma de envío usada,
-Fotogramas en buena resolución
-Afiche oficial en buena resolución
-Ficha técnica
-Sinopsis
-Trailer (en caso de tenerlo)
-Foto del director(a)
-Redes sociales del cortometraje y del director(a).

La inscripción en el festival implica la aceptación absoluta de este reglamento.

El Jurado Preliminar (curaduría del festival), realizará una preselección de los trabajos recibidos en función del reglamento de esta convocatoria.

La selección oficial se publicará vía email a cada uno de los favorecidos, una vez que se cierre la convocatoria y que el Jurado Preliminar CINEVERSATIL considere en consenso cuales son las obras pertenecientes a la muestra oficial.

Mediante la inscripción de la obra se autoriza a la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE y al colectivo AREMIDIAR para su exhibición en el lapso correspondiente a la celebración del festival y en los eventos previos. Estas exhibiciones además de incluir el territorio argentino podría incluir territorio español, venezolano y brasilero. CINEVERSATIL se compromete a notificar con antelación dichas exhibiciones a sus autores/autoras.

El director/ la directora autoriza a la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE (ente organizador del CINEVERSATIL) a usar hasta dos minutos de la obra para el propósito de promoción del festival en televisión, internet y/o cine.

El director/la directora se responsabiliza de no afectar los derechos de autor de terceras personas y exime a los organizadores del CINEVERSATIL de cualquier responsabilidad legal. Los/las responsables de la postulación en la plataforma se hacen completo cargo de los derechos de propiedad intelectual y de autor. Declaran ante los organizadores de CINEVERSATIL que son únicos/as responsables ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda concerniente al material presentado, y que expresamente acuerdan indemnizar a los organizadores ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda, incluyendo reclamos de derechos de copyright y/o demás derechos, gastos por abogados, y otras gastos generados por dichas circunstancias.

RULES:
CINEVERSATIL, International Festival of Short Films on Diversity- Argentina offers an alternative on awareness of sexual and affective diversity through a film festival that integrates the non-competitive exhibition of LGBTIQ+ audiovisual narratives in short film format and new activist experiences.

The specific objectives for 2023 are: a) to carry out the face-to-face exhibition of short films dedicated to the pink triangle, b) to carry out discussion and reflection activities around the short films other than the traditional cinema debate or cinema forum.

The duration of the works will be:
Up to 20 minutes maximum for short films including credits (exceptions apply due to quality criteria).

The accepted format for exhibition is in digital format for all cases. Shorts can be submitted through FilmFreeway
Short films in Spanish or subtitled in Spanish are preferably accepted. Shorts in another language with their respective subtitle files in Spanish or English (.srt format) are also accepted.

There are no restrictions on production dates.
.
The closing of the call for registration and submission of the works will take place at the moment that the preliminary jury considers it so (May 30, 2023).

To participate in the 13th edition of the Festival, directors/producers must submit:
-Download link of the short or downloadable version on the shipping platform used,
-Frames in good resolution
-Official poster in good resolution
-Data sheet
-Synopsis
-Trailer (if you have one)
-Photo of the director
-Social networks of the short film and the director.

Registration in the festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.

The Preliminary Jury (festival curator), will make a pre-selection of the works received based on the regulations of this call.
.
The official selection will be published via email to each of the winners, once the call is closed and the CINEVERSATIL Preliminary Jury considers in consensus which are the works belonging to the official sample.

By registering the work, the FAMICINE FOUNDATION and the AREMIDIAR collective are authorized to exhibit it during the period corresponding to the celebration of the festival and in previous events. These exhibitions, in addition to including the Argentine territory, could include Spanish, Venezuelan and Brazilian territory. CINEVERSATIL undertakes to notify their authors in advance of said exhibitions.

The director authorizes the FAMICINE FOUNDATION (organizing entity of CINEVERSATIL) to use up to two minutes of the work for the purpose of promoting the festival on television, internet and/or cinema.

The director is responsible for not affecting the copyright of third parties and exempts the organizers of CINEVERSATIL from any legal responsibility. Those responsible for the application on the platform are fully responsible for the copyright and intellectual property rights. They declare before the organizers of CINEVERSATIL that they are solely responsible for any type of claim or demand concerning the material presented, and that they expressly agree to indemnify the organizers for any type of claim or demand, including claims of copyright and/or other rights, expenses for lawyers, and other expenses generated by said circumstances.
