CINE VERSÁTIL, Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes sobre Diversidad ofrece una alternativa sobre concienciación en materia de diversidad sexual y afectiva a través de una fiesta cinematográfica que integra la exhibición no competitiva de narrativas audiovisuales LGBTIQ+ en formato cortometraje y las nuevas experiencias activistas.
La edición 16 pone foco en Asia.
La duración de las obras será:
Hasta 20 minutos máximo incluyendo los créditos. No aplican excepciones

El formato aceptado para exhibición es en soporte digital para todos los casos.
Se aceptan cortometrajes con subtítulos en formato srt en inglés.

Los cortometrajes deben estar producidos entre 2025 y enero 2027. Aplican excpeciones para el año 2024 dependiendo de la calidad.
El cierre de la convocatoria para inscripción y envío de los trabajos se producirá en el momento que el jurado preliminar así lo considere (20 de mayo, 2027).
Para participar en la 16 edición del Festival, los directores/productores deberán entregar:
-Link de descarga del corto o versión descargable en la plataforma de envío usada,
- Archivo de subtítulos .srt en inglés.
-Fotogramas en buena resolución (1920x1080)
-Afiche oficial en buena resolución
-Ficha técnica
-Sinopsis
-Trailer (en caso de tenerlo)
-Foto del director(a)
-Redes sociales del cortometraje y del director(a).

La inscripción en el festival implica la aceptación absoluta de este reglamento.

El Jurado Preliminar (curaduría del festival), realizará una preselección de los trabajos recibidos en función del reglamento de esta convocatoria.

La selección oficial se publicará vía email a cada uno de los favorecidos, una vez que se cierre la convocatoria y que el Jurado Preliminar CINE VERSATIL considere en consenso cuales son las obras pertenecientes a la muestra oficial.

Mediante la inscripción de la obra se autoriza a CINE VERSÁTIL para su exhibición en la plataforma online WAHUSTREAMING en el lapso correspondiente a la celebración del festival y en los eventos previos en el territorio argentino. CINE VERSÁTIL se compromete a notificar con antelación dichas exhibiciones a sus autores/autoras.

El director/ la directora autoriza a CINE VERSÁTIL a usar hasta dos minutos de la obra para el propósito de promoción del festival en televisión, internet y/o cine.

El director/la directora se responsabiliza de no afectar los derechos de autor de terceras personas y exime a los organizadores del CINE VERSÁTIL de cualquier responsabilidad legal. Los/las responsables de la postulación en la plataforma se hacen completo cargo de los derechos de propiedad intelectual y de autor. Declaran ante los organizadores de CINE VERSÁTIL que son únicos/as responsables ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda concerniente al material presentado, y que expresamente acuerdan indemnizar a los organizadores ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda, incluyendo reclamos de derechos de copyright y/o demás derechos, gastos por abogados, y otras gastos generados por dichas circunstancias.

GUIDELINES: CINE VERSÁTIL, the International Short Film Festival on Diversity, offers an alternative approach to raising awareness about sexual and affective diversity through a cinematic celebration that integrates the non-competitive screening of LGBTIQ+ audiovisual narratives in short film format and new activist experiences.
The 16th edition focuses on Asia.
The duration of the works will be:
Up to 20 minutes maximum, including credits. No exceptions apply.
The accepted format for exhibition is digital media in all cases.
Short films with English .srt subtitles are accepted.
Short films must be produced between 2025 and 2027 January. Exceptions apply for 2024 depending on the quality.
The deadline for registration and submission of works will be set by the preliminary jury (May 20, 2027).
To participate in the 16th edition of the Festival, directors/producers must submit:
- A download link for the short film or a downloadable version on the submission platform used,
- An English .srt subtitle file.

-High-resolution official poster
-Technical specifications
-Synopsis
-Trailer (if available)
-Photo of the director
-Social media links for the short film and the director.

Registration for the festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.

The Preliminary Jury (festival curators) will make a pre-selection of the submitted works according to the regulations of this call for entries.

The official selection will be published via email to each of the selected works, once the call for entries closes and the CINE VERSÁTIL Preliminary Jury has reached a consensus on which works will be included in the official selection.

By registering their work, entrants authorize CINE VERSÁTIL to screen it on the online platform WAHUSTREAMING during the festival and at pre-festival events in Argentina. CINE VERSÁTIL will notify the filmmakers of these screenings in advance.

The director authorizes CINE VERSÁTIL to use up to two minutes of the film for the purpose of promoting the festival on television, the internet, and/or in cinemas.

The director is responsible for not infringing on the copyrights of third parties and releases the organizers of CINE VERSÁTIL from any legal liability. Those responsible for submitting their work to the platform assume full responsibility for intellectual property and copyright rights. They declare to the organizers of CINE VERSÁTIL that they are solely responsible for any type of claim or demand concerning the submitted material, and that they expressly agree to indemnify the organizers against any type of claim or demand, including claims for copyright and/or other rights, attorney's fees, and other expenses generated by such circumstances.
