World Smart Shorts Independent Panorama to międzynarodowy festiwal filmowy poświęcony prezentacji ultrakrótkich form filmowych, realizowanych wyłącznie przy użyciu smartfonów i podejmujących dowolną tematykę. Celem wydarzenia jest promowanie formalnego minimalizmu i narracyjnego maksymalizmu oraz wspieranie niezależnych twórców spoza głównego nurtu przemysłu filmowego. Ideę Festiwalu oddaje hasło: „Jeden film – jedna minuta – jeden smartfon”. Do udziału zapraszani są autorzy z całego świata.

World Smart Shorts Independent Panorama is an international film festival dedicated to presenting ultra-short films created exclusively with smartphones, on any subject matter. The event celebrates formal minimalism and narrative maximalism while supporting independent creators working outside the mainstream film industry. The guiding motto of the Festival is: “One film – one minute – one mobile.”
Filmmakers from all over the world are welcome to participate.

Awards & Prizes

Nagrody
Nagroda główna – „Grand Smart – Best Short Award” – obejmuje roczne, bezpłatne studia na wybranym kierunku w Wyższej Szkole Sztuki i Projektowania w Łodzi (warunkiem jest spełnienie formalnych kryteriów rekrutacji). Przyznane zostaną również nagrody honorowe w kategoriach: najlepszy film dokumentalny, fabularny, eksperymentalny i teledysk.
Awards & Prizes
The Grand Prize – “Grand Smart – Best Short Award” – offers one year of tuition-free studies in a program of the winner’s choice at the Academy of Art and Design in Łódź (Wyższa Szkoła Sztuki i Projektowania), subject to meeting the university’s formal admission requirements.
Honorary awards will also be granted in the following categories:
• Best Documentary
• Best Narrative Fiction
• Best Experimental Film
• Best Music Video

Zasady i Terminy
Do konkursu można zgłaszać filmy trwające maksymalnie 60 sekund (wraz z czołówką i napisami), zrealizowane wyłącznie przy użyciu smartfona i zmontowane w dowolnym programie edycyjnym. Akceptowane są wszystkie gatunki filmowe z wyjątkiem reklam. Zgłoszenia należy dokonać poprzez platformy FilmFreeway lub Festhome, a dodatkowo przesłać wypełniony formularz zgłoszeniowy w formacie PDF na adres e-mail Organizatora.
Opłaty za zgłoszenie filmu wynoszą:
• 5 USD (do 10 sierpnia 2025 r. – termin regularny)
• 10 USD (do 31 sierpnia 2025 r. – termin ostateczny)
Wyniki selekcji konkursowej zostaną ogłoszone 10 września 2025 r., a pokazy konkursowe i gala finałowa odbędą się 18 września 2025 r.
Zgłoszenie filmu oznacza akceptację regulaminu, zgodę na przetwarzanie danych osobowych oraz udzielenie nieodpłatnej licencji promocyjnej na wykorzystanie filmu (lub jego fragmentów) w materiałach związanych z Festiwalem.

Rules & Terms
Films must be no longer than 60 seconds (including opening titles and end credits), shot entirely with a smartphone, and edited using any software. All genres are accepted except commercial advertising.
Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway or Festhome, and participants are also required to send a completed and signed PDF entry form to the Organizer by email. The form must include film information, details of the smartphone and any accessories used, and GDPR consent.
Submission fees:
• $5 (until August 10, 2025 – regular deadline)
• $10 (until August 31, 2025 – final deadline)
Selection results will be announced on September 10, 2025.
Competition screenings and the final awards ceremony will take place on September 18, 2025.
By submitting a film, the Participant accepts the Festival Regulations, agrees to the processing of personal data, and grants the Organizer a free, non-exclusive, unlimited-time promotional license to use the film (in full or in part) for Festival-related promotional purposes.
