UK Film Review Festival

UK Film Review, in partnership with the UK Film Review Podcast, showcases and promotes films by indie filmmakers across the world.

Ours is a unique movie event, as we provide a film review for EVERY film that enters. The monthly winners will also receive a dedicated review on our Film Podcast (available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major podcast platforms).

We accept short films and feature-length. There is no production date requirement - submit any films you have made from previous years/decades, or even films that you have not yet released.

Please do not submit your film if you are unable to provide us with a viewing link accessible in the UK without any need for additional subscriptions or payments. Any of the following is fine:

- YouTube Link (public or unlisted)
- Vimeo Link (public or password-protected)
- Google Drive link

ALL films that enter will receive a written film review on the official UK Film Review website.

ALL films that enter will have the option to embed their trailer (must be public) into our written review.

Selected films will be reviewed on the UK Film Review Podcast, as well as promoted on the official UKFR Facebook & Instagram pages.

Selected films will also be able to supply an audio clip from their film, which will be played during our podcast episode.

Entries must be submitted before the deadlines.
Filmmakers are responsible for providing working viewing links.

SUBMISSIONS
The nonrefundable entry fee must be payable in GBP to UK Film Review via FilmFreeway. UKFR will not pay any screening fees under any circumstances for your film.

ENTRY REGULATIONS
The UKFR is a competitive showcase for domestic and international feature films, documentaries and shorts. The UKFRF reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any project submitted. There is no limit to the number of entries.

FILM/VIDEO ENTRIES
All foreign language entries must have English subtitles. Projects must be submitted for consideration as an online screener. PAL format will not be accepted. Works in progress will not be considered for the UKFRF. Works in progress will not be selected. Screening material, press and any application materials sent to UKFR will NOT be returned. If you did not receive a confirmation of submission, please email info@ukfilmreview.co.uk.

PRESS MATERIALS
If selected, filmmakers must provide relevant assets in a timely fashion. Failure to do so may result in a delay regarding your film's selection process.

SHIPPING
We only accept digital screeners. No prints or physical copies can be accepted.

REPRODUCTION AGREEMENT
Submission of an entry gives UKFR permission to have excerpts of accepted work, including film trailers, shown in all promotional activities related to the festival.

NOTIFICATION
Films selected will be notified in due course. We reserve the right to notify filmmakers at any stage.

TERMS
Whilst we will take all measures possible to prevent online copyright infringement we take no responsibility for any illegal sharing of films or assets.

Only complaint is it came and went too quickly. A weekend wasn't long enough to check out all the great work.
