The UK Film Review Festival is an international online film festival in partnership with our sister VOD platform UK Film Channel.

Ours is a unique movie event, as not only do we showcase filmmakers from across the globe, we also provide a film review for EVERY film that enters. So even if you don't get official selection, you still get something by submitting.

We accept short films and feature-length. There is no production date requirement - submit any films you have made from previous years/decades.

ALSO, if your film received a 5-star review from us - you will get GUARANTEED OFFICIAL SELECTION if you submit via FilmFreeway. Feel free to submit for a review via our website.

Our jury is made up of experienced film critics who have a passion for watching and reviewing all kinds of movies - no matter the budget.

Our festival event will take place over a weekend in November, whereby all the official selections will be available to watch online via our VOD platform - UK Film Channel.

Please do not submit your film if you are unable to provide us with the following by September 1st 2021: digital copy of the film, digital copy of the trailer, portrait poster, English closed captions files in .srt type for both the film and trailer.

Overall Rating
  • It was an honour to be selected with our short film TRIGGER. Amazing exposure through the online screenings, written review and podcast review. Also great communication with Chris Olson & the festival team. I highly recommend the UKFRF and I will definitely submit again.

  • Alasdair Mackay

We were so honored to be selected and then to win Best Feature Film at this festival as we're big fans of what these guys do throughout the year for Independent film makers. Such a great line up. Only complaint is it came and went too quickly. A weekend wasn't long enough to check out all the great work.
