    Response from festival:

    Hi, Richard.
Your payment is a fee for participation in the festival, not a payment for movie screening. These are general rules for participation in festivals - submission fee.
In 23/24 season we had more than 100 submissions, short-list consisted from 12 movies. All of them paid a submission fee, but not all were shown in cinemas. It is impossible to show all 100 movies in 3 days that film festival takes place in each city.
It's a pity that without understanding the rules you immediately go to put low marks. Good luck, buddy!

Very good film festival. I feel honored that Japanese ski films were introduced in Russia.
