A’Nylah Taylor is a Black Woman Filmmaker and visual artist, currently based in Chicago. A’Nylah’s work represents the lives and identities of marginalized groups, specifically Black Americans. The mission is to visually represent Black people in mediums and places they aren’t normally given access to. To have the Black experience as the focal point of her art and ideas along with questions she encounters in her life and identity. Exploring themes in the Black community such as injustices, joy, sadness, our history, present and future, that also reflect A’Nylah’s own experiences. She is her work.
