Old Times Not Forgotten Film Festival was created in honor of Brett Jones who had a passion for film and had begun his career in the film industry prior to his passing on January 4th, 2024. Along with his passion for film, Brett had a passion for helping others, particularly film students. We want to honor his two passions by dedicating much of the film festival to Kansas high school and college films. We hope to support and encourage current and aspiring filmmakers.

  • For its first year, this festival went above and beyond to meet expectations. Debbie and Donna were such incredible hosts. The hospitality of this festival was top notch. There were so many great opportunities to meet the other filmmakers also. I made friendships and connections that will last a lifetime. I know this festival is very special to them, and I can't think of a better way to honor Brett's memory. Thank you for a truly incredible experience in Derby! I can't wait until next year.

I had a great time at the inaugural Old Times Not Forgotten Film Festival! They had a lot of talent on display and I was very impressed with how smoothly everything ran AND the ticket price for the weekend was hard to beat.

I would recommend this festival for both moviegoers and filmmakers alike!
