The theme chosen for this edition is "Exodus".

Contemporary life brings a lot of continuous change in our world. Migration, refugee crisis, moving for other countries, cities, changing whole lives altogether.

This year, we seek for short and strong stories that can bring reflection and action.

A festival with films produced in mobile platforms. The most easy and accessible tool to express ideas, tell stories and exercise communication .
This is our second edition, in 2015 more than 800 films were submitted.

mObgraphia Visual Culture intends to stimulate the use of mobile devices and platforms gathering different styles and a single theme in this festival.

mObgraphia already produces events, exhibitions, festivals, awards, publishing and workshops since 2013. The mobile photo and film festival and awards are held at MIS – Museu da Imagem e do Som in São Paulo, the most important visual arts venue in Brazil.

Rules & Terms

Films must be shot with mobile devices -smartphone/ tablet
The image editing/ sound can be completed in another platform.
You may use editing programs, post production and special effects.
The minimum duration is 15 seconds and the maximum is 15 minutes.

All entries must be original and submitted according to the theme above.
The author or authors of the video should be the sole holders of the copyright of the uploaded video it may not infringe on the copyright, trademark or other rights of any individual.
As the films are received and selected by our team, are brought online in our platforms.
Registration can only be done through this festival platform. Participants can submit their films for consideration and selection of the festival.
All entries must comply with the terms of use and code of conduct stated by You Tube, and to participate in the festival users agreed to accept these rules.

By submitting the film to the mObgraphia film festival, the (s) of author (s) accept that the festival use the movie or excerpts for display, presentation, dissemination and promotion of the festival ( Tv shows, film festivals, media).
Each contestant shall retain, for all legal purposes, the full responsibility for videos that have entered the festival.
The author who has received this award festival undertakes to mention the festival name in all advertising and press material that is produced after the award of the prize to the film.
The resolution of issues not expressed in this Regulation is a decision of the festival organizers.
