Located in Jersey City, The Jersey city International Television and Film Festival is a year-round non-profit cultural and educational organization founded to provide a home in the most diverse city in New Jersey to showcase the work of filmmakers that fosters better communication between people of diverse cultures through film. Festival events include free workshops, screenings, conversation, and social gatherings for professional in the film industry.

We believe that everyone has a story, and we hope that by providing a chance to share that voice in the public arena, JCITFF will help to elicit ideas from others which empower creativity, leading to great empathy and understanding of differences in society and possibly fostering social change. We embrace those voices and gladly support the impact of their work across the world.

During the three-day festival, vistors, residents and member of the business and film communities, public officals, students and academics gather to celebrate film and its influence on society.

The Jersey City International Television and Film Festival provides the community with a network of programs and opportunities to foster education and real time experience in the field of television and film through workshops, seminars, markets and events. JCITFF is committed to offering year-round programming to enrich, inspire, educate and connect our student community so that they have the tools to enter the professional world.

JCITFF is produced by The Jersey City International Television and Film Festival, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in 2013 and dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts and independent film through education, screenings, and community outreach. We are also partners with New Jersey City University (NJCU), a Public University located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Short synopsis of entry, short bio of filmmaker, photo of filmmaker, short trailer, genre/category, production year, MPAA rating if any, length of film.

If selected, 2 DVDs, along with press kit, photos, and trailer, as well as completed entry form per film submitted, must be made available to the Jersey City International Television & Film Festival with the filmmaker granting permission for the materials to be used in all publicity pertaining to the Jersey City International Television and Film Festival.

The act of submitting your film constitutes acceptance without reservation of all rules of the JCITFF.

Note: Entry fees are in U.S. Dollars, are per film and are non-refundable. The Festival reserves the right to disqualify a submission, without refund of any kind, if eligibility requirements are not met including if eligibility status changes post-submission.

*Each entry must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. Entry fees are not refundable.
*Only entries with full payment & required information will be considered.
*The cost of shipping an entry to the festival must be paid by the entrant. Collect or COD shipments will not be accepted.
*Student submissions - to qualify for student fee - must include proof of student status at time of production [copy of student ID, letter from school/teacher.
*Confirmation of the filmmaker[s] legal rights to all music, images and content in the entry.
