Located in Jersey City, The Jersey city International Television and Film Festival is a year-round non-profit cultural and educational organization founded to provide a home in the most diverse city in New Jersey to showcase the work of filmmakers that fosters better communication between people of diverse cultures through film. Festival events include free workshops, screenings, conversation, and social gatherings for professional in the film industry.
We believe that everyone has a story, and we hope that by providing a chance to share that voice in the public arena, JCITFF will help to elicit ideas from others which empower creativity, leading to great empathy and understanding of differences in society and possibly fostering social change. We embrace those voices and gladly support the impact of their work across the world.
During the three-day festival, vistors, residents and member of the business and film communities, public officals, students and academics gather to celebrate film and its influence on society.
The Jersey City International Television and Film Festival provides the community with a network of programs and opportunities to foster education and real time experience in the field of television and film through workshops, seminars, markets and events. JCITFF is committed to offering year-round programming to enrich, inspire, educate and connect our student community so that they have the tools to enter the professional world.
JCITFF is produced by The Jersey City International Television and Film Festival, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in 2013 and dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts and independent film through education, screenings, and community outreach. We are also partners with New Jersey City University (NJCU), a Public University located in Jersey City, New Jersey.
