Guy Olivieri is an award-winning actor, writer and producer in New York City where he lives with his husband and their very cliché small dog, named Tom.
He started his producing career as a founding member and literary manager for Ground UP Productions, an Off Off Broadway theatre company. For over a decade he help shepherd scripts from first table-read to full production.
In 2012, Guy founded Off Off Hollywood Productions, a film and TV production company to extend the reach of his producing. The first project was a sitcom pilot he wrote called FreakMe, which won Best Television Pilot at the Hoboken Film Festival as well as several other major awards. His short films, “40th, ”“I Don’t Believe In That,” “Obits,” and “Frequency” have played on 4 continents. Guy’s pilot script, “SUCKERS”, a vampire comedy, won Best Short Script at the SoCal Film Festival.
As an actor you’ve seen Guy on stage as Mark in The National Tour of RENT, on television shows like Homeland, Blue Bloods, and The Black List. But forget all that! Guy had one line in a Hallmark Holiday Film, called Broadcasting Christmas, starring Melissa Joan Hart and Dean Cain. So… jealous much?
