Jean-Claude (JC) Boulos is a Beirut-based filmmaker born in 1992. He has been working in several sectors in the film industry since 2010; most notably in editing and art direction.JC’s approach is realistic, his work often focuses on underdog stories of people desperately trying to survive. In addition to film, Jean-Claude has experimented in theater where he produced and directed ‘Manamat’ in 2016 and worked as an assistant director to Chrystèle Khodor in her play ‘Augurs’ (2021). He has also worked on art installations such as ‘Letters to Fairuz’ in collaboration with Ibi Ibrahim in 2016 and the self-produced ‘White Walls ’in 2018.
In November 2019, Jean-Claude co-founded an independent media outlet named Fawra Media where he is currently the editor-in-chief.
