My name is Jacob Raymond Schwar and I’m a freelance runner/pa and an aspiring independent filmmaker. I first got into film when studying my foundation degree in Photography at my local sixth form college, I had the opportunity to experiment with the medium and even produced an experimental documentary “It’s All Changed Round Here” which I submitted to the my local film festival 2022 during which it had its first public screening. Since then I have been able to take part in some work placements provided through my local council as well as doing runner/pa work with a video production company. Most recently I completed my first commission project with Create London and National Lottery Heritage Fund for their local community programme Breaking Waves 2023 in Barking and Dagenham, with which I made documentary exploring local history and working-class heritage in the borough.
