RULES CONTEST "ORIZZONTI"

Art. 1
Within the 2026 edition of i-Fest International Film Festival, the “Orizzonti” Contest is launched, a film competition dedicated to Feature Films, Short Films, Documentaries and Animated Short Films in media partnership with Rai Cinema Channel and in collaboration with Italian Film Institute.

Art. 2
The works must be sent through the FilmFreeway platform (https://filmfreeway.com/i-Fest) no later than August 15 2026.

Art. 3
All works (Feature Films, Short Films and Documentaries) of authors of any nationality in any language can be accepted.
Non-Italian works should be accompanied by Italian and/or english subtitles.
The works received will be divided into the following sections:
- Short films and Animated Short Films: maximum duration of 30 minutes, credits included. The theme is free and works already winning or participating in other festivals are allowed.
- Feature Films and Documentaries: no time limit. The theme is free and works already winning or participating in other festivals are allowed.
Pornographic projects are excluded or racial or ethnic violence is exempt, which is contrary to respect for human rights, animal rights, the security of persons and freedom of expression.

Art. 4
Each author can submit a maximum of n. 3 works.
Participation in the competition requires a registration fee for each work:
Early Fee: march 15 - april 15 > Euros 25,00 (or $ 21.95)
Regular Fee: april 15 - june 1 > Euros 30,00 (or $ 27.44)
Late Fee: june 1 - july 31 > Euros 35,00 (or $ 32.93)

Physical media copies are not accepted and the Festival will not return any media received. In case of exclusion from the competition for the failure to comply with all the requirements, the registration fee will not be refunded.

Art. 5
Incomplete or illegible works will not be considered. The signatory of registration declares to be the owner of all the rights of use of the work and of each of its members; ensures that its contents are in its availability
and do not violate existing laws or regulations or third party rights and in particular copyright, right to image, trademark and patents for industrial inventions; assures and declares, moreover, that the work has no defamatory content. In any case, the participant must arrange for any loss, damage, liability, costs and expenses of any kind that should be incurred due to the content of the work and its public screening.
The entries will not be returned and will be part of the archives of the i-Fest International Film Festival Organization. The works may be shown for cultural and educational purposes without profit. The Organization reserves the right to use the material received for any subsequent or previous events and reserves the right to select them also for the competitions of the editions that will be held in Palermo (Sicily) with the obligation to quote the source and inform the authors or rights holders in advance.

Art. 6
A preselection commission, composed of experts in the field, at its unquestionable judgment will choose the works to be presented in the official competition. The selection of the winning works will be carried out by the jury's insight and judgment. Participation in the official competition will be announced within one week before the Festival starts, via the contacts obligatory included in the registration form.

Art. 7
The Jury and the Festival Organization reserve the right not to award the prizes, to award them ex aequo among several participants, and to establish additional awards not specified in these regulations. The decisions of the Jury and the Preselection Committee are final and not subject to appeal. Prizes may be collected during the final day of the i-Fest International Film Festival; otherwise, they will be shipped to the winner at the recipient’s expense.

Art. 8
The Festival Organization reserves the right to make decisions regarding issues not specified in this regulation and may decide to cancel, postpone, reduce or interrupt the Festival's performance without being subject to complaint or claim.

Art. 9
Participants give, from now on, unconditional consent, pursuant to Law 675/96 on the protection of privacy, to the use of personal data for all initiatives related to the Competition.

Art. 10
Participation in the Contest implies the full acceptance of this Regulation, automatically accepted by the participants by simply forwarding the work to the Competition. The Festival Organization reserves the right to make decisions regarding issues not specified in this regulation and may decide to cancel, postpone, reduce or to stop the Festival's performance without being subject to complaint or complaint. The Competition Authority shall have the right to a final decision on any matter not specified in this Regulation. The courts of Cosenza shall be the competent forum on any dispute.

REGOLAMENTO CONTEST "YOUNG TALENTS FOR CINEMA"

Art. 1
Nell’ambito di i-Fest International Film Festival 2026, la sezione dedicata ai ragazzi i-Fest YOUNG in Media Partnership con Rai Cinema Channel lancia il concorso denominato “Young Talents for Cinema”

Art. 2
Il concorso è dedicato alle scuole primarie e secondarie e a giovani filmmaker e prevede l’ideazione di sceneggiature originali da elaborare in prodotto audiovisivo (Cortometraggio, Lungometraggio) che affronti i temi proposti (Art. 4) attraverso l’utilizzo di qualsiasi genere cinematografico.

Art. 3
Ogni opera pervenuta potrà essere realizzata da: un singolo studente, un gruppo di studenti, una classe di studenti, giovani film maker o indirizzate ad un pubblico di giovani o che trattino di tematiche giovanili.
Le opere realizzate da due o più studenti minorenni (gruppi/classi) dovranno riportare l’indicazione del referente con cui l’Organizzazione del Festival si rapporterà; il referente potrà essere un ragazzo partecipante al progetto, se maggiorenne, un docente o un genitore.
Sono ammesse al concorso opere provenienti da filmmaker e da studenti di qualsiasi nazionalità che frequentino un Istituto scolastico pubblico o privato.

Art. 4
Le opere devono avere una durata massima di 30 minuti (crediti inclusi) gli Short, e oltre i 31 minuti i Lungometraggi.
Le opere non in lingua italiana dovranno essere corredate da sottotitoli in italiano e/o inglese.

I temi suggeriti su cui ogni studente, gruppo, filmmaker può scegliere di ideare e sviluppare la propria opera, con piena libertà di espressione e linguaggio creativo, sono:
1 - FAMIGLIA ED INTEGRAZIONE
2 - AMBIENTE E TERRITORIO
3 - FUTURO
4 - ARTE
Sono esclusi i progetti a sfondo pornografico o che esaltino il razzismo o la violenza, che siano contrari al rispetto dei diritti umani, dei diritti degli animali, alla sicurezza delle persone e alla libertà di espressione.

Art. 5
Le opere dovranno pervenire tramite la piattaforma FilmFreeway (https://filmfreeway.com/i-Fest) entro e non oltre il 15.08.2025.

La partecipazione al concorso richiede una quota di iscrizione per singola opera:
- Early Fee: 15 marzo - 15 aprile > Euro 25,00
- Regular Fee: 15 aprile - 1 giugno > Euro 30,00
- Late Fee: 1 giugno - 31 luglio > Euro 35,00

Non si accettano copie in supporto fisico ed il Festival non restituirà eventuali supporti ricevuti.
In caso di esclusione dal concorso per il mancato rispetto di tutti i requisiti, la quota di iscrizione non verrà rimborsata.

Art. 6
Non saranno prese in considerazione opere pervenute incomplete o illeggibili. È responsabilità di studenti, docenti, o altri soggetti che presentano il film garantire di essere legittimamente autorizzati a iscriverlo al concorso di i-Fest International Film Festival.
Iscrivendo la propria opera alla selezione tramite il presente bando, il partecipante si dichiara detentore di tutti i diritti (anche per la parte di co-autori che non intendano partecipare), compresi quelli relativi a eventuale materiale protetto da copyright inserito all’interno del film. Il firmatario dell’iscrizione dichiara di essere titolare di tutti i diritti di utilizzazione dell’opera e di ogni suo componente; assicura che i contenuti della stessa sono nella sua disponibilità e non violano le leggi o i regolamenti vigenti o i diritti dei terzi e in particolare il diritto d’autore, il diritto all’immagine, i segni distintivi e i brevetti per invenzioni industriali; assicura e dichiara, inoltre, che l’opera non presenta contenuti a carattere diffamatorio. In ogni caso il partecipante esonera l’Organizzazione da tutte le perdite, danni, responsabilità, costi, oneri e spese di qualsivoglia natura che dovessero essere sostenute a causa del contenuto dell’opera e della sua proiezione in pubblico.
Le opere iscritte non verranno restituite e costituiranno parte del patrimonio dell’archivio dell’Organizzazione del Festival. Esse potranno essere mostrate per scopi culturali e didattici senza fini di lucro. L’Organizzazione si riserva il diritto di utilizzare il materiale pervenuto per eventuali successive o antecedenti manifestazioni.

Art. 7
Una Commissione di preselezione, composta da esperti del settore, a suo insindacabile giudizio sceglierà le opere da presentare nel concorso ufficiale. La successiva selezione delle opere vincitrici avverrà a cura e giudizio insindacabile della Giuria.
La partecipazione al concorso ufficiale verrà comunicata entro una settimana prima dell’inizio del Festival, tramite i contatti obbligatori inseriti nel modulo di iscrizione.

Art. 8
L'Organizzazione del Festival si riserva il diritto di prendere decisioni riguardanti questioni non specificate in questo regolamento e può decidere di cancellare, posticipare, ridurre o interrompere il decorso del Festival senza per questo essere oggetto di reclamo o denuncia.

Art. 9
I partecipanti danno, fin d'ora, incondizionato consenso, ai sensi della Legge 675/96 sulla tutela della privacy, all'utilizzo dei dati personali per tutte le iniziative connesse al Concorso.

Art. 10
La partecipazione al Concorso implica l'accettazione integrale del presente regolamento, automaticamente accettato dai partecipanti con il semplice inoltro dell'opera al Concorso. La Direzione del Festival avrà diritto di decisione finale su tutto quanto non specificato in questo regolamento. Per ogni eventuale controversia è competente il Foro di Cosenza.
