The "Festival del Cinema di Castel Volturno" was born in December 2018 with the purpose to become an annual prestigious appointment for the Territory and for National and International film industry.
The project takes its roots from the desire to promote Castel Volturno as a place of interest and point of Reference for the cinema, since in the last years it became the set of numerous films, documentaries, short films and video clips thus granting an important slice of artistic production in this area.

La data di apertura del BANDO è il 15 febbraio 2023 e si chiuderà il 30 luglio 2023 alle ore 23:59 ora italiana.
L’iscrizione al Festival è valida solo attraverso la piattaforma filmfreeway.com e il costo di iscrizione è 8 euro (otto euro).
Le opere selezionate saranno proiettate durante il Festival che si terra a Castel Volturno dal 23 al 28 ottobre 2023, sia in sala che su piattaforma on line.
Le opere selezionate dovranno essere caricate sulla piattaforma del sito del festival, a cura del partecipante. Si precisa che le opere non saranno pubbliche ma solo visibili agli utenti registrati, e non sarà in alcun modo possibile scaricarle.

Sono ammesse opere vincitrici o che hanno partecipato ad altri festival
Le opere devono essere state prodotte dopo il 1 gennaio 2019

Tutte le opere saranno valutate da un’apposita commissione, che avrà il compito di ammettere le opere alle varie sezioni del festival

Accederanno alla finale 25 opere che verranno visionate da

formata da circa 20 ragazzi tra i 14 e i 20 anni. Assegneranno il Premio GIURIA YOUNG

costituita da personalità di spicco del cinema, del teatro e del giornalismo. Assegneranno il PREMIO FCCV (premio in danaro), e le Menzioni speciali:

Accederanno alla finale 5 opere che verranno visionate da:
giuria pubblico
costituita da pubblico in sala e utenti di tutto il mondo che partecipano da remoto.
E’ possibile partecipare alla Giuria pubblico iscrivendosi nel periodo precedente al festival direttamente sul sito. Il regolamento (visibile sul sito) prevede che i giurati vedano tutti i film in concorso.

Il corto dovrà avere una tematica sociale (es.: ambiente, salute mentale, difesa dei piu deboli, emarginazione, abusi e violenze).

assegnerà il premio UN CORTO PER IL ROTARY (in danaro)
REGOLAMENTO
La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione del presente regolamento in tutti i suoi punti, pena l’esclusione dell’opera inviata.
1) Ciascun partecipante, inviando l’opera , dichiara di essere titolare di tutti i diritti di utilizzazione dell’opera stessa, nessuno escluso. Che i contenuti della stessa non violino le leggi vigenti e che l’opera non presenti contenuti a carattere diffamatorio. In ogni caso il partecipante manleva l’organizzazione da ogni responsabilità per il contenuto del film proiettato in pubblico.
2) Ciascun partecipante, con l’invio della sua opera, autorizza l’organizzazione, qualora fosse selezionata, a renderla visibile, per un periodo di tempo limitato (dal 16 ottobre al 16 novembre 2023) sulla piattaforma dedicata del festival, visibile solo dagli utenti registrati e non scaricabile in alcun modo.
3) I CORTOMETRAGGI dovranno avere durata massima di 15 minuti. Per l’iscrizione sono obbligatori i sottotitoli in inglese. Le 25 opere selezionate dovranno fornire i sottotitoli in italiano, tranne quelli in lingua italiana, pena l’esclusione.
4) I LUNGOMETRAGGI dovranno avere una durata minima di 60 minuti. Sono richiesti i sottotitoli in italiano (tranne quelli in lingua italiana) pena l’esclusione.
5) I DOCUMENTARI dovranno avere una durata minima di 50 minuti. Dovranno essere sottotitolati in inglese pena l’esclusione.
6) In caso di vittoria, i vincitori sono invitati a garantire la loro presenza durante la premiazione oppure ad inviare un videomessaggio da proiettare o presenziare da remoto. Il luogo della premiazione sarà Castel Volturno in una data compresa tra il 23 e il 28 ottobre 2023 e i vincitori saranno avvisati tramite mail.

Call for entries for the selections of the sixth edition of the
CASTEL VOLTURNO FILM FESTIVAL
The opening date of the BID is 15 February 2023 and it will close on 30 July 2023 at 23:59 Italian time.
Entry to the Festival is valid only through the filmfreeway.com platform and the entry fee is €8.
Selected works will be screened during the Festival that will take place in Castel Volturno from 23 to 28 October 2023, both in theatres and on the online platform.
The selected works will have to be uploaded on the platform of the festival website by the participant. Please note that the works will not be public but only visible to registered users, and it will not be possible to download them in any way.
WORKS ALLOWED

FEATURE FILM SECTION
Five works will enter the final round to be viewed by
public jury
consisting of the audience in the auditorium and users from all over the world who participate remotely.
It is possible to participate in the Public Jury by registering in the period preceding the festival directly on the website. The rules (visible on the website) require the jurors to see all the films in competition.

The short film must have a social theme (e.g.: environment, mental health, defence of the weakest, marginalisation, abuse and violence).
This award is in collaboration with the Rotary Club

RULES
Participation in the competition implies the acceptance of these regulations in all their points, under penalty of exclusion of the submitted work.
1) Each participant, by sending the work, declares that he/she is the owner of all rights of use of the work itself, none excluded. That the contents of the work do not violate the laws in force and that the work does not contain libellous content. In any case, the participant releases the organisation from any liability for the content of the film screened in public.
2) Each participant, by submitting his/her work, authorises the organisation, should it be selected, to make it visible, for a limited period of time (from 16th October to 16th November 2023) on the festival's dedicated platform, visible only to registered users and not downloadable in any way.
3) SHORT FILMS must have a maximum length of 15 minutes. English subtitles are compulsory for entry. The 25 selected works must provide subtitles in Italian, under penalty of exclusion.
4) LONG FILMS must have a minimum duration of 60 minutes. Italian subtitles must be provided (except for those in Italian language) under penalty of exclusion.
5) DOCUMENTARIES must have a minimum duration of 50 minutes. They must be subtitled in English under penalty of exclusion.
6) In the event of victory, the winners are invited to guarantee their presence during the prize-giving ceremony or to send a video-message to be screened or attended remotely. The venue of the award ceremony will be Castel Volturno on a date between 23 and 28 October 2023 and the winners will be notified by e-mail.
