We're BACK for DFFB 2025! The Bradford district is celebrating all throughout 2025 as this year's City of Culture and so we thought it would be a great time to bring back DFF for a proper last hurrah.

We pride ourselves on being filmmaker-focused and putting unique and interesting films in front of new audiences, which is why all of our screenings are free of charge. And this year we have some really exciting plans to expand across the Bradford district and really celebrate both the films AND the spaces.

We're going to be focusing on the impactful, the out there, the DIY, the artsy, the experimental, the absolutely wild, but most importantly the most interesting, something to say films we can find. If any of that sounds like you, we definitely want to see what you've made!

WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
My goal in founding DFF was to provide comfortable, unique, and most importantly FREE spaces to show our films. That led me to the amazing local pub scene of Bradford - hence 'Drunken' Film Fest. It's not about getting drunk on booze; it's about getting drunk on film, having great conversations, and exploring the amazing venues this city has to offer.

I couldn't attend the festival unfortunately, but communication with Jax was great. Thanks again for picking my film for screening! Who knows, maybe I'll be there in the future for a different film of mine...

  • A lovely festival with a really engaged crowd of artistic people in the audience, which was interesting. I met some great people who I'll definitely stay in contact with. Defintiely worth going in person if you're close like me... and getting to see Bradford, which is fabulous! I never know. Jax and her team are so welcoming, especially Max. Thanks for screening us... and see you again next time - hopefully!
