The ARA KOREA FILM FESTIVAL (AKFF) presents a focused awards program that recognizes overall excellence across all genres and formats.
AKFF does not divide awards by genre or format.
Feature films, short films, documentaries, dance films, experimental works, and all other submissions are evaluated together.
Only four awards are presented in total.

Awarded to the film that demonstrates the highest level of overall artistic and cinematic achievement, including storytelling, direction, vision, and impact.

Artistic Vision & Craft
Awarded to a director whose work shows exceptional artistic vision, originality, and command of cinematic language, regardless of genre or format.
🏆 Best Performance
Acting Achievement
Awarded for an outstanding performance that conveys depth, authenticity, and emotional power.
This award may recognize an individual performer or a collective performance.
🏆 Jury Special Prize
Distinctive Work
Awarded to a film that demonstrates a unique voice, innovative approach, or distinctive perspective recognized by the jury.
Jury & Awarding Process
All awards are decided by a jury composed of active professional filmmakers, including directors, producers, and creators currently working in the film industry.
The jury evaluates all submissions based on artistic quality, originality, and cinematic execution, without regard to genre or format.
Jury decisions are final.

Awards are not separated into categories such as feature, short, documentary, dance, or experimental.
