Art. 1 – Participation.
Who can participate: short films with a maximum duration of 20 (twenty) minutes (including opening and closing credits), produced between 2020 and 2024; documentaries with a maximum duration of 52 (fifty-two) minutes, produced between 2020 and 2024. Short films and documentaries from abroad must be subtitled in English and/or Italian*. Italian short films and documentaries must be subtitled in English.
*In case of lack of Italian subtitles from abroad, WFF - in case of official selection - will provide to send to the submitter a sub.ita. file extension to insert in the shortfilm.
Art. 1bis - Fee Waiver policy. WFF will release 7 fee waivers every 100 paid submitted shortfilms, selected by Artistic Direction among the received requests. In order to facilitate less developed countries, the requests coming from countries with (already) paid submissions will be excluded. All the requests to be evaluate - through WFF mail address - should consent the visualization of the relative short/doc.
Every other request non-conforming to the reported art. won't be considered.
Art. 2 - Registration. Sending materials. Deadlines.
Pre-registration for the 2024 competition takes place exclusively via the FilmFreeway portal.
The organization reserves the right to ask participants for further documentation deemed useful for achieving the Festival's objectives. Communication will be given to the authors of the selected works through e-mail sent by August 2024. The organization reserves the right to extend this date if the registrations numerically don't exceed those expected.
The festival will be held in stages of public screenings. The Organization reserves the right to change dates and places if there are any reasons to suggest their modification.
Art. 3 - Selection. Jury. Awards.
The WFF's Artistic Direction will have the task of choosing the works to be submitted to the judgment of the Technical Jury, made up of experts in the sector (artistic directors of international film and shortfilm festivals, producers, actors), will proclaim, at its sole discretion, the winners among the works selected in the various categories.
The prizes will be awarded to the winners of the following categories:
- Blood & Guns;
- Real Life & Roses;
- Smiles & Fools;
- Times & Souls;
- Sciences & Fictions;
- Premio Carlo Andria - Best Documentary.
The Organization reserves the right to make improvements and/or additions to the categories and nature of the prizes. The selected works will be published on the site
and on the official social accounts of WFF.
The winners will be notified in advance to ensure their presence at the awards ceremony. For the awarding of prizes, it is necessary for the author or a delegate to attend the event.
For winners of the official selection coming from outside the Campania region facilities can be provided for their stay in the city (benefits through affiliated activities) to be agreed with the organization.
The non-participation of the author, or delegate, at the final awards evening, does not oblige the organization to send the prize to the residence of the winner.
The winners will be notified in advance to ensure their presence at the awards ceremony. For the awarding of prizes, it is necessary for the author or a delegate to attend the event.
The awards will be presented by Artistic Direction and Technical Jury directly to the winners or their delegates.
Art. 4 – Communication/Advertising
On the site, on the official accounts of Wolf Film Festival (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), by the sending of e-mails, all news relating to the receipt of the works, to the possible selection phases, venues, locations and calendars of the projections, the date and places of awarding, as well as the event brochures will be communicated.
The authors, producers and distributors of the films admitted to the Official Selection of the Wolf Film Festival competition are required to indicate in their opening credits, promotional materials and press, and on any official websites, the Festival logo and the prize received.
Art. 5 – General rules.
- The duly signed registration form has the value of authorizing the processing of personal data, pursuant to GDPR, by the organization of the Competition. The participant may obtain the correction of their data or object to their use through mail to be sent to the Festival's organization.
- The organizers are committed to the care and custody of the works received but are not responsible for any theft, loss or damage. The selected and awarded works will be conserved in the archives of the Wolf Film Festival and used in non-profit cultural events and occasions to be communicated to the authors.
- Foreign language works must have subtitles in Italian. Italian work must have subtitles in English.
- Works of an advertising nature of commercial products, pornographic, racist, discriminatory or that apologize for violence, as well as propaganda works, will not be accepted.
- The organizers of the competition, in accordance with the established rules on copyright, consider that the works presented are exempt from any artistic property rights or rights that could belong to third parties. The authors undertake to guarantee the organizers against any action that could be exercised against them by those entitled. The organization of the competition can not in any way be held responsible in the event of a dispute or litigation. The author is solely responsible for the content of the work.
- For reasons of major force, for technical-administrative problems or to make improvements or in case of unforeseen exceptions, the organization may modify the present Rules, communicating information on the promoting sites.
- Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of these Rules. For each case not explicitly foreseen by the Regulations, the organizers of the competition will adjudicate.
Art.6
Any other aspect not included in the following selection procedure is the responsibility of the Artistic Direction of Wolf Film Festival, which has the power to derogate from the regulation itself in very specific and well-motivated cases.In the event of particular disputes, the applicable legal regulations are deemed authentic and binding.

REGOLAMENTO (ITA)
Art. 1 – Partecipazione
Possono partecipare:
- Cortometraggi della durata massima di 20 (venti) minuti (titoli di testa e di coda compresi), prodotti dal 2020 al 2024; documentari della durata massima di 52 (cinquantadue) minuti (titoli di testa e coda compresi), prodotti dal 2020 al 2024.
I cortometraggi e i documentari provenienti dall’estero devo essere sottotitolati in italiano. I cortometraggi e i documentari provenienti dall'Italia devono essere invece sottotitolati in inglese.
Art. 1bis - Richiesta di esenzione per iscrizione. Il WFF rilascerà 7 iscrizioni gratuite ogni 100 iscrizioni a pagamento, selezionate dalla Direzione Artistica tra le richieste ricevute. Al fine di facilitare la provenienza da Paesi effettivamente svantaggiati, le richieste provenienti da Paesi con iscrizioni (già) paganti saranno escluse.
Tutte le richieste per essere valutate - attraverso l'indirizzo email del WFF - devono consentire la visualizzazione del relativo corto/documentario.
Ogni altra richiesta non conforme a quanto riportato non sarà considerata.
Art. 2 – Iscrizione. Invio materiali. Scadenze.
La pre-iscrizione al concorso 2024 avviene esclusivamente tramite il portale FilmFreeway.
L’organizzazione si riserva di richiedere ai partecipanti ulteriori documentazioni che si ritenessero utili per il raggiungimento degli obiettivi del Festival. Sarà data comunicazione agli autori delle opere selezionate con apposita notifica inoltrata tramite FilmFreeway entro fine agosto 2024. L’organizzazione si riserva di prolungare tale data qualora le iscrizioni non dovessero numericamente superare quelle previste.
Il festival sarà articolato in diverse fasi di proiezioni pubbliche. L’Organizzazione si riserva di cambiare date e luoghi qualora dovessero presentarsi motivazioni tali da suggerirne la modifica.
Art. 3 – Selezione. Giuria. Premiazioni.
L’organizzazione provvederà a nominare una Commissione di Selezione che avrà il compito di scegliere le opere da sottoporre al giudizio della Giuria Artistica costituita da esperti del settore che proclamerà, a suo insindacabile giudizio, i vincitori tra le opere selezionate nelle diverse categorie.
I premi saranno assegnati ai vincitori delle seguenti categorie:
- Blood & Guns;
- Real Life & Roses;
- Smiles & Fools;
- Times & Souls;
- Sciences & Fictions;
- Premio Carlo Andria - Miglior Documentario.
L’Organizzazione si riserva di apportare modifiche migliorative e/o integrazioni alle categorie e natura dei premi.
Le opere selezionate saranno rese note sugli account social ufficiali del Wolf Film Festival.
I vincitori saranno preventivamente avvisati per garantire la loro presenza alla serata di premiazione. Per l'assegnazione dei premi è necessaria la presenza all'evento dell'autore o di un suo delegato. I premi verranno consegnati direttamente ai vincitori o a loro delegati. Per i vincitori provenienti da fuori regione Campania possono essere previste agevolazioni per il soggiorno presso strutture cittadine convenzionate con il festival, da concordare con l’organizzazione.
La mancata partecipazione dell'autore, o di persona per esso delegata, alla serata finale di premiazione, non obbliga l'organizzazione alla spedizione a domicilio del premio del vincitore.
Art. 4 – Comunicazione/Pubblicità
Sul sito promotore e sulle pagine social ufficiali del Wolf Film Festival (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) e attraverso invio di e-mail, saranno comunicate tutte le notizie relative alla ricezione dei lavori, alle eventuali fasi di selezione, sedi, luoghi e calendari delle proiezioni, la data e luoghi di premiazione, nonché il cartellone degli eventi.
E’ fatto obbligo agli autori, produttori e distributori dei film ammessi alla Selezione Ufficiale del concorso Wolf Film Festival di indicare nei titoli di testa, sui materiali promozionali e stampa e su eventuali siti web ufficiali il logo del Festival e il premio ricevuto.
Art. 5 – Norme generali.
- La scheda d’iscrizione regolarmente firmata ha valore di autorizzazione al trattamento dei dati personali, ai sensi del GDPR, da parte dell’organizzazione del Concorso. Il concorrente può ottenere la rettifica dei suoi dati o opporsi al loro utilizzo mediante mail da inviare all'organizzazione dell'evento.
- Gli organizzatori si impegnano nella cura e nella custodia delle opere pervenute ma non rispondono di eventuali furti, smarrimenti o danneggiamenti. Le opere selezionate e premiate saranno conservate negli archivi del Wolf Film Festival e utilizzate in eventi e manifestazioni culturali non a scopo di lucro di cui sarà data agli autori comunicazione.
- Le opere in lingua estera, pena l’esclusione, dovranno riportare almeno i sottotitoli in lingue inglese: in caso di selezione il WFF fornirà agli autori finalisti apposita estensione sub.ita. da integrare nell'opera. Le opere in lingua italiana dovranno invece riportare sottotitoli in inglese.
- Non saranno accettate opere a carattere pubblicitario di prodotti commerciali, a carattere pornografico, razzista, discriminatorio o violento, così come opere propagandistiche.
- Gli organizzatori del concorso, in conformità con le regole stabilite in materia di copyright, considerano che le opere presentate siano esenti da qualsiasi diritto di proprietà artistica o dai diritti che potrebbero appartenere a terzi. Gli autori si impegnano a garantire gli organizzatori contro qualsiasi azione che potrebbe essere esercitata contro di loro dagli aventi diritto. L’organizzazione del concorso non potrà, in alcun modo essere ritenuta responsabile in caso di contestazione o contenzioso. L’autore è il solo responsabile del contenuto dell’opera.
- Per cause di forza maggiore, per problemi tecnico-amministrativi o per apportare migliorie od in caso di eccezioni non previste, l'organizzazione potrà modificare il presente Regolamento, dandone informazione sui siti promotori.
- La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione integrale del presente Regolamento. Per ogni caso non previsto esplicitamente dal Regolamento decideranno gli organizzatori del concorso.
Art.6
Ogni altro aspetto non contemplato nel seguente bando di selezione è di competenza della Direzione Artistica WFF che ha il potere di derogare al regolamento stesso in casi ben particolari e ben motivati. In caso di particolari controversie fanno fede e ragione le vigenti norme di legge.
