Journalist and documentary filmmaker, born in 1976, he has always travelled, driven by a constant need for exploration and storytelling. His work spans social and war reportage, with a gaze rooted in human experience and the margins of contemporary life.
In 2012, he bought a 1982 camper van, the *Vostok100k*, and turned it into a mobile newsroom. From that moving base, he began collecting stories across borders and regions. Among the many journeys undertaken: a solo tour of Europe documented for RepubblicaTV; *Lungomare Italia*, a travelogue along Italy’s coastlines; *South Cultural Routes*, an exploration of stories from Southern Italy supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture; and *Puglia Fuori Rotta*, a project commissioned by the Region of Puglia to uncover the region’s hidden marvels.
In 2021, he founded his own production company, **Omero su Marte**.
As a filmmaker, he has directed several documentaries including *Madre Nostra* (2019), a powerful narrative about social farming and lands reclaimed from the mafia; *Ionio* (2021), an intimate voyage between Italy and Greece; *Kintsugi* (2022), presented at the Giffoni Film Festival; *Sosandra* (2023); *Biopatriarchi* (2024), a reflection on biodiversity; and *Approdi* (2024), premiered at the BIFEST.
