1 – SUBMISSION RULES
Submissions must be made through the FilmFreeway platform by May 13, 2026.
Films of the fantastic genre (horror, fantasy, science fiction and thriller) will be accepted.
For the competitive categories, short films with a maximum duration of 25 minutes (including credits) will be accepted.
Short films must have been completed from January 2024 onwards.
International films must include English or Portuguese subtitles.
Brazilian feature films may be submitted for non-competitive special screenings. Only feature films completed from 2025 onwards and longer than 70 minutes are eligible.
There is no limit to the number of submissions per filmmaker.
2 – CATEGORIES
COMPETITIVE:
Vôti Brasil Section - Short films made by Brazilian filmmakers and shot in Brazil.
Cana Quente Section - Short films shot in the countryside of the State of São Paulo by filmmakers from SP state (all cities, except coastal areas).
Vôti Gringa Section - International short films (produced outside Brazil).
NON-COMPETITIVE:
Vôti Kids Section - Short films aimed at children or rated for general audiences.
Special Screening - Brazilian feature films presented in a non-competitive format.
3 – AWARDS
The official jury will award the Vôti Véi! Trophy and a Digital Certificate in the following categories:
Best Film – Vôti Brasil Section
Best Film – Cana Quente Section
The official jury will also award the prize with a Digital Certificate for the following category:
Best Film – Vôti Gringa Showcase (international films)
The official jury will also grant the following awards in the Competitive Sections with a Digital Certificate:
Best Direction
Best Cinematography
Best Screenplay
Best Art Direction
Best Editing
Best Sound Design
The Vôti Kids Section will feature an Audience Award for Best Film with a Digital Certificate.
The festival organization does not cover shipping costs and is not responsible for shipping the trophy to winners who are not present at the awards ceremony. The trophy may be sent via postal or delivery services at the recipient’s expense.

Self-rating for Brazilian films according to the Brazilian Ministry of Justice Content Rating Practical Guide
Materials must be submitted within 5 days of the request.
The exhibition copy must be provided in the following format:
.mp4 (H264 codec)
Full HD resolution (1920×1080), regardless of aspect ratio
High quality, maximum file size: 3 GB
Brazilian films (Mostra Vôti Brasil) must provide SDH subtitles (.SRT).
International films must provide English or Portuguese subtitles (.SRT).
5 – GENERAL CONDITIONS
The festival does not pay screening fees for selected films.
Selected films may be screened in parallel or traveling festival programs in Araçatuba and nearby cities, subject to prior authorization from the filmmakers.
The festival may hold an online edition during the event period, subject to the filmmaker’s authorization.
Once selection is confirmed, the film may not be withdrawn from the program.
The festival does not accept advertising films, institutional films, or AI-generated films.
Works that promote prejudice, discrimination, hate speech, or violence may be rejected.
The festival organization may use excerpts from selected films for promotional materials.
The festival does not cover transportation or accommodation costs for invited filmmakers.
Filmmakers are fully responsible for the copyright of all elements used in their work.
Films that are publicly available on the internet (YouTube, Vimeo, or similar) at the time of selection may be disqualified.
The festival organization may adjust the content rating to comply with Brazilian regulations.
The festival may create new categories and/or awards based on the material received and it will have the right to transfer some works submitted in the "Cana Quente" category to the "Mostra Vôti Brasil" category if necessary.
The festival organization may change dates or venue due to force majeure.

VÔTI VÉI! – Araçatuba International Fantastic Film Festival

1 - REGRAS DE INSCRIÇÕES
As inscrições devem ser feitas pela plataforma FilmFreeway até o dia 13 de maio de 2026.
Serão aceitos filmes do gênero fantástico (terror, fantasia, ficção científica e suspense).
Para as categorias competitivas serão aceitos curtas-metragens com duração máxima de 25 minutos (incluindo créditos).
Os curtas devem ter sido finalizados a partir de janeiro de 2024.
Filmes internacionais devem possuir legendas em inglês ou português.
Longas-metragens brasileiros podem ser inscritos para exibição especial não competitiva. Apenas longas finalizados a partir de 2025 e com mais de 70 minutos.
Não há limite de inscrições por realizador.
2 - CATEGORIAS
COMPETITIVAS:
Mostra Vôti Brasil - Curtas-metragens realizados por cineastas brasileiros e filmados no Brasil.
Mostra Cana Quente - Curtas-metragens filmados no interior do Estado de São Paulo por realizadores de SP (todas cidades, exceto região litorânea).
Mostra Vôti Gringa - Curtas-metragens internacionais (produzidos fora do Brasil).
NÃO-COMPETITIVAS:
Mostra Vôti Kids - Curtas-metragens voltados ao público infantil ou de classificação livre.
Exibição Especial - Longas-metragens brasileiros exibidos em caráter não competitivo.
3 - PRÊMIOS
O júri oficial concederá o troféu Vôti Véi! e Certificado Digital para as seguintes categorias:
Melhor Filme – Mostra Vôti Brasil
Melhor Filme – Mostra Cana Quente
O júri oficial também concederá o prêmio com Certificado Digital para a seguinte categoria:
Melhor Filme – Mostra Vôti Gringa (filmes internacionais)
O júri oficial também concederá os seguintes prêmios nas Mostras Competitivas com Certificado Digital:

Melhor Fotografia
Melhor Roteiro

A Mostra Vôti Kids terá Prêmio do Público para Melhor Filme com Certificado Digital.
A organização do festival não arca com custos de envio nem se responsabiliza pelo frete do troféu para os ganhadores que não estiverem presentes na noite de premiação, podendo ser enviada por meios de serviços de encomendas com o frete a custo do solicitante;

Autoclassificação para filmes brasileiros conforme o “Guia Prático da Classificação Indicativa” do Ministério da Justiça.
Os materiais devem ser enviados em até 5 dias após a solicitação.
A cópia de exibição deve estar no formato:
.mp4 (codec H264)
Resolução FULL HD (1920×1080). Independente da proporção de tela.
Alta qualidade. Tamanho máximo do arquivo: 3 GB.
Filmes brasileiros da Mostra Vôti Brasil devem fornecer legendas LSE (Legendagem para Surdos e Ensurdecidos) .SRT;
Filmes internacionais devem fornecer legendas em inglês ou português (.SRT).
5 - CONDIÇÕES GERAIS
O festival não paga taxa de exibição aos filmes selecionados.
Os filmes selecionados poderão ser exibidos em mostras paralelas ou itinerantes do festival em Araçatuba e cidades da região mediante autorização prévia dos realizadores.
O festival poderá realizar uma edição online durante o período do evento, mediante autorização dos realizadores.
Após confirmada a seleção, o filme não poderá ser retirado da programação.
O festival não aceita filmes publicitários, institucionais ou gerados por IA.
Trabalhos que promovam preconceito, discriminação, discurso de ódio ou violência poderão ser recusados.
A organização poderá utilizar trechos dos filmes selecionados para materiais promocionais do festival.
O festival não cobre custos de transporte ou hospedagem dos realizadores convidados.
Os realizadores são totalmente responsáveis pelos direitos autorais de todos os elementos utilizados na obra.
Filmes que estejam disponíveis publicamente na internet (YouTube, Vimeo ou similares) no momento da seleção poderão ser desclassificados.
A organização do festival poderá alterar a auto classificação indicativa conforme conveniência do evento para adequação às normas brasileiras.
O festival poderá criar categorias novas e/ou prêmios a partir do material recebido e terá o direito de transferir algumas obras inscritas na categoria "Cana Quente” para “Mostra Vôti Brasil” caso necessário.
A organização do festival poderá alterar datas ou local do evento por motivos de força maior.
