Vesuvius International Film Awards (VIFA) is a prestigious festival with live screenings, offering an exciting opportunity to participate in an international competition.

Only finalists will be screened.

By joining the Vesuvius International Film Festival, your film will have the chance:

– To be selected for the Official Selection
– To win in one of our categories
– To be screened at the festival

Our mission is to introduce fresh, new voices from around the world to our global audience.

Festival Structure:

Film Selection: All submitted films are reviewed.

Official Selection: Films chosen for screening will receive the status of "Official Selection."

Jury Selection: The jury will then choose the winners.

Our winners will receive a cool, handmade marble trophy. We can ship the trophy to any location worldwide— the only cost the winner will cover is the shipping fee.

Rules & Terms

1. We are passionate about supporting and celebrating cinema.

2. No fee waivers. All entry fees are non-refundable.

3. Multiple submissions from the same filmmaker are allowed. However, each submission must be accompanied by a separate entry form and entry fee.

4. The decision of the festival selection committee is final.

5. The organizers of Vesuvius International Film Awards (VIFA) reserve the right to change, cancel, or reschedule the dates, venue, awards, and categories without prior notice or consent from the contestants.

6. The organizers also reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.

    Vesuvius International Film Awards A great festival for worldwide filmmakers.Communication was excellent about every aspect of the process. It was a great experience to be part of this festival. Our film DO OVER is Semifinalist in the festival, it is really worth participating in the festival. They truly make you feel important and so welcomed.
