DECLINAZIONE PLURALE (DeP)© è un concorso a tema “definito”, con cadenza biennale.
Pur rientrando nella attività del TraniFilmFestival DeP fa parte delle azioni definite “Esterno TrFFestival” con un ruolo di “ponte” fra le varie annualità del TrFF. Più che orgogliosi del ottenuto Patrocinio del Comitato delle Pari Opportunità dell’Ordine degli Avvocati di Bari puntiamo ad ampliare il numero dei soggetti e dei partner da coinvolgere, a titolo vario nella progettualità al fine di una sua divulgazione ampia e capillare. Attitudini particolari del progetto DeP sono:
¬ Creare un percorso per il riconoscimento per gli short film nei canali ufficiali della distribuzione cinematografica. Permettendo grazie al format del film ad episodi a sale, sale cinematografiche, circuiti d’essai, festival, rassegne o per proiezioni dedicate
¬ Contribuire a creare continuità fra le varie edizioni annuali del TrFF
¬ Esortare ed orientare la creatività di autori e produttori su argomenti e questioni di ampio interesse internazionale sia attuale ma anche storico, sociale, scientifico, filosofico, politico e geopolitico.
¬ Indurre, con scelta attenta di contenuti e di tematiche da declinare per un incremento delle coscienze e delle analisi critiche.

PLURAL DECLINATION (DeP)©, International short film contest is a contest with a theme "defined",
every two years. Dep is part of the activity of the TraniFilmFestival in the activity/section "External Festival" with a function of "bridge" between the various years of the TrFF. We plan to involve partners and experienced and knowledgeable stakeholders for the
project. for the best dissemination of the project. Particular aptitudes of the dep project are:
Ø create a path for the recognition of short films in the official channels of film distribution. Ø help create continuity between the various annual editions of the TrFF.
Ø encourage and orient the creativity of authors and producers on topics and issues of wide international interest both current but also historical, social, scientific, philosophical, political and geopolitical.
Ø Induce, with careful choice of content and issues to be declined for an increase in
awareness and critical analysis.
PLURAL DECLINATION (DeP) during the various and upcoming editions will be pronounced in Chapters. The project aims to be inspired both by the tradition of "Films to episodes" and that of "Collective Films". The theme chosen for this first edition of dep 10 years after Italian ratification is "The Istanbul Convention".. Independent authors, directors, production companies, schools, university departments and institutes of cinema and communication Inspired by the "Convention" will be able to interpret articles, contents or principles, realize with short films whose finalists will be the episodes of a feature film of about 90 minutes to be programmed in the theater or present with dedicated presentations. The "Convention" is the first legally binding international instrument aimed at creating a comprehensive regulatory framework to protect women and against all forms of gender-based violence. Acting specifically also in the field of domestic violence, which affects not only women, but also other subjects, such as children and the elderly, to which the same rules of protection apply. Authors can participate by creating stories that speak or are inspired by the contents and meanings of the Istanbul Convention.

Partecipanti: La partecipazione al contest è aperta a tutti, senza distinzione di nazionalità o di dimora. Sono ammessi autori indipendenti, registi, case di produzione, scuole, dipartimenti universitari e istituti di cinema e comunicazione.

Saranno ammesse opere realizzate dopo il 2021 e ispirate ai principi della “Convenzione di Istanbul” con una durata massima di 15 minuti titoli inclusi.
Partecipazione: Inviare, la presente modulistica compilata in ogni sua parte a info.tranifilfestival@gmail.com, con oggetto “Iscrizione DeP 23|24” allegando link [scaricabile] dell’opera. Le opere non in lingua Italiana devono essere sottotitolate in Italiano o Inglese. Il materiale pervenuto per la preselezione non sarà restituito. Detto materiale entrerà a far parte dell'archivio Archivio Storico Culturale del TrFF (DeP). Le opere pervenute saranno visionate dalla direzione del Festival e da una commissione nominata, che selezionerà i finalisti. Il giudizio della commissione è insindacabile. Termine presentazione materiali: Le opere inviate per la preselezione dovranno pervenire entro il 22 dicembre 2023.
Selezione - Giuria - Premi e Riconoscimenti: Direzione artistica e una Giuria di esperti (minimo di 3 a un massimo 5 componenti) scelte dall’ Organizzatore | Resp. di Progetto, selezioneranno le opere finaliste che andranno a comporre gli episodi di un lungometraggio di circa 90 minuti da post produrre, distribuire o proporre a sale cinematografiche, circuiti d’essai, festival, rassegne o per proiezioni dedicate con la presenza di autori e cast artistico, inoltre sarà facoltà della giuria assegnare eventuali menzioni o segnalazioni di merito.
Accettazione del regolamento: La partecipazione a DECLINAZIONE PLURALE (DeP) implica l'accettazione integrale del presente regolamento in ogni sua parte. La direzione si avvale della facoltà di apporre eventuali variazioni al regolamento. La manifestazione potrebbe essere suscettibile di rinvio o annullamento. Per tutto ciò che non è espressamente specificato nel regolamento, fa testo il giudizio insindacabile dell’organizzatore.

Will be admitted works made after 2021 and inspired by the principles of the "Istanbul Convention" with a maximum duration of 15 minutes including titles.
Participation: Send this form, filled in in all its parts to info.tranifilfestival@gmail.com, with the subject "Registration DeP" attaching link [downloadable] of the work. Works not in Italian must be subtitled in Italian or English. The material received for pre-selection will not be returned. This material will become part of the TrFF Historical Cultural Archive (dep). The submitted works will be viewed by the Festival management and by a nominated commission, which will select the finalists. The commission’s opinion is final. The results will be made known to the authors by email and published online.

Submission deadline: Works sent for pre-selection must be received by 18 december 2023. Selection and jury: The selection of the short films finalists is by the artistic director and a jury composed of a minimum of three to a maximum of five people, chosen by the Organizer|Project Manager.
Prizes: The finalist works will be the episodes of a feature film lasting about 90 minutes to be produced and distributed to cinemas, arthouse circuits, festivals, reviews or events, the jury will also be able to assign any mentions or merit reports.
Acceptance of the regulation
Participation in PLURAL DECLINATION (DeP) implies full acceptance of this Regulation in all its parts. The management has the right to make any changes to the regulation. The demonstration could be postponed or cancelled. For all that is not expressly specified in the rules, the final judgment of the organizer is the text.
