The Toronto Arab Film Festival is a non-for-profit festival dedicated to bringing films from, and about the Arab world, to Toronto audiences. TAF began because of a need to fill a void that exists in film programming in Toronto, specifically a lack of films from the Arab regions and a desire to reinstate a tradition of going out to watch films that has been lost.

The 3rd annual festival will take place May 26 - 29, 2022 in Toronto.

Overall Rating
  • This super-stylish festival is run by a cool collection of individuals, all seeking to highlight the many stories, perspectives, and alternative visions of the Arab world and its diaspora communities. The organizers are pretty social media savvy too, so LOTS of online exposure for filmmakers!
