Welcome to the Rehoboth Beach PRIDE Film Festival

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society (RBFS) is proud to present the 2024 PRIDE Film Festival from June 14-16, in partnership with CAMP Rehoboth. The three-day festival will showcase LGBTQ+ documentaries, features and international films at the Cinema Art Theater in Lewes, DE. Moviegoers can expect social gatherings and filmmaker Q&As to celebrate the festival and PRIDE month. The RBFS remains committed to presenting outstanding cinema with the diverse audiences who live in and visit our community.

Headlining this year’s PRIDE Film Festival, is a 25-year retrospective screening of director Jim Fall’s classic film “TRICK,” starring Tori Spelling, Christian Campbell, John Paul Pitoc, Brad Beyer, and Miss Coco Peru. “TRICK” will screen on Saturday, June 15 at 7:00 PM and ticket holders will be able to participate in a post-screening discussion with the director in a look back at the film that follows the romantic misadventures of two young gay men in Manhattan.

The Cinema Art Theatre PRIDE Film Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in the month of June, pride month. The purpose of pride month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender plus individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally. It’s only fitting to bring the many incredibly talented filmmakers and their work to Southern Delaware s during PRIDE month celebrations!! --said CAMP Rehoboth Executive Director, Kim Leisey.

The final slate of Festival titles will be announced in late-April along with other special festival events. We hope you will join us and experience all that this year’s PRIDE Film Festival has to offer.

Our 2023 PRIDE Film Festival enjoyed incredible success! That included several sell-out screenings and securing the East Coast premiere of the Indigo Girls documentary, “It's Only Life After All.” The 2024 Festival Planning Committee is actively reviewing potential film titles. I’m confident this year’s program will be a sell-out! --said RBFS Executive Director, Helen Chamberlin.
