Fantastic event and experience particularly for a new festival. Thoughtful high standard of films. Also lots of thought and care put into making it a special experience for nominees/awardees.Really brilliant to see this kind of event to encourage both local and global talent. Looking forward to the next one!

Was honoured to attend the very first Gogs Short Film Festival in the beautiful Theatr Colwyn. Celyn Jones was an excitable host and justly proud to have set it all up. It's precisely what North Wales needs and I'm quite sure that a Gog award will soon be on the must-win wishlist of short-filmmakers everywhere. Special points for getting Wim Wenders to virtually present the final trophy.
