After a brief hiatus due to logistical challenges, the Tea, Toast & Ghosts Film Festival returns for its second season—bigger, bolder, and more committed than ever to celebrating independent filmmaking in all its forms.

Originally launched as a niche event focused on ghost stories and supernatural themes, the festival has evolved into a broader platform for creative, thought-provoking, and boundary-pushing short films from around the world. While we continue to honour our spooky origins with a dedicated supernatural category, we now welcome films across all genres and styles.

Held in the vibrant coastal town of Folkestone, UK, this is an intimate, filmmaker-friendly festival built around great storytelling, atmospheric screenings, and, of course, tea and toast.

Whether you're a seasoned creator or a first-time filmmaker, if you’ve got a bold short film and a unique voice, we want to see it.

We accept short films (3–20 minutes) from all genres and styles, including but not limited to:

Drama
Comedy
Thriller
Sci-fi
Experimental
Animation
Horror & Supernatural
Documentary
Music Video
Student Films

All filmmakers are welcome to submit, but extra love will be given to ghostly, eerie, or supernatural submissions, which remain a nod to the festival’s haunting roots.

🏆 Official Selections will be screened live at the Tea, Toast & Ghosts Film Festival 2025 in Folkestone, UK.
