International Artificial Intelligence Film Festival Rules and Conditions of Participation Application Requirements
1- Application Dates and Process
a- Applications will be accepted between June 25, 2026 - 1 Nov, 2026.
b- Applications will only be accepted online via www.filmfreeway.com.
c- Films completed after January 1, 2025 can apply to the competition.
d- Films that have used productive artificial intelligence in the entire filmmaking process can participate in the competition.
e- Contestants can apply with a maximum of two works.
f- Films with a duration not exceeding 20 minutes can apply to the competition.
g- Films that have been previously shown on TV channels or published on digital media platforms cannot participate in the competition.
h- Participating in national or international competitions or receiving awards from different competitions does not prevent participation in this festival.
ı- Filmmakers are required to provide complete film credits (roll/caption information) for their works.
i- Filmmakers are required to upload all related materials of their films on FilmFreeway (including poster, trailer, visual assets, and similar promotional materials).
j-Filmmakers may be requested to provide prompts and production-related information regarding their films upon request by the festival.
2- Competition Categories
a- Competitions are organized in two main categories: national and international.
b- All national and international films in fiction, animation and documentary branches can participate in the competition.
3- Evaluation Process and Evaluation Criteria
a- Films will be evaluated on criteria such as script, use of artificial intelligence, visual effects and general aesthetic integrity.
b- The pre-selection committee and the main jury will be determined by the festival management.
c- The submitted films will be screened by the pre-selection jury. The films that pass this selection will be evaluated by the main jury. The decision of the main jury is final and cannot be changed.
4- Announcement of Selected Films
The films that are evaluated by the Festival Management and qualified to compete are announced on the official website of the festival and through the media.
5- Awards
a- In the competition, a prize sculpture will be awarded to one winning film in each category.
6- Publicity and Publication Rights
a- For the purpose of promoting the festival, small sections or trailers from the films may be shown in different media (television, radio and internet).
b- The responsibility for copyrights lies with the author. The authors agree that their works may be screened during the festival and used for promotional purposes.
c- The works selected for the selection are presented to the audience in the halls deemed appropriate by the management. No royalty fee is charged for the screening of the films.
d- The screening of the selected films will not be used for commercial purposes.
e- The owner of the work undertakes that the film is completely legal and in accordance with copyright.
7- General Rules
a- The author is the producer or director of the film.
a- After the announcement of the films selected for the competition, the authors cannot withdraw their films from the festival.
b- When the author completes the online application, he/she is deemed to have accepted all the rules of the competition.
c- The film of the author who does not fulfill the application conditions and rules may be excluded from the competition by the festival management even if the film passes the screening.
d- If deemed necessary for the films selected for the selection, additional documents (poster, digital copy, etc.) requested by the festival management about the work must be sent by the owners.
8- Language and Subtitling
a- English subtitles for films whose original language is Turkish, and Turkish and English subtitles for films whose original language is not Turkish.
b-Filmmakers are required to upload either Turkish subtitles or subtitle files in .srt format during the submission process.
9-Festival Management Rights
a- For the competition to be held, at least 20 films must have participated and passed the preliminary evaluation.
b- The festival reserves the right not to make any statement regarding the selection of the films.
c- Festival management may appoint non-voting observers to the jury decision meeting when deemed necessary.
d- The decision of the jury is recorded with a minute signed by the jury members. This decision is delivered to the festival management by the jury president.
e- The festival management has the right to amend the festival regulations if it deems necessary.
Türkiye Uluslararası Yapay Zeka Film Festivali Kuralları ve Katılım Şartları
1- Başvuru Tarihleri ve Süreci
a- Başvurular 25 Haziran 2026 - 1 Kasım 2026 tarihleri arasında kabul edilecektir.
b- Başvurular sadece www.filmfreeway.com sitesi üzerinden çevrimiçi olarak yapılacaktır.
c- Yarışmaya 1 Ocak 2026 tarihinden sonra tamamlanmış filmler başvurabilir.
d- Yarışmaya, film yapım süreçlerinin tamamında üretken yapay zeka kullanmış filmler katılabilir.
e- Yarışmacılar en fazla iki eserle başvuru yapabilir.
f- Yarışmaya süresi 20 dakikayı aşmayan filmler başvuru yapabilir.
g- Daha önce TV kanallarında gösterilmiş, dijital medya platformlarında yayınlanmış olan filmler yarışmaya katılamazlar.
h- Ulusal ya da uluslararası yarışmalara katılmış olmak ya da farklı yarışmalardan ödül almış olmak bu festivale katılmaya engel değildir.
ı- Eser sahipleri, filmlerine ait künyeyi (roll/caption bilgilerini) eksiksiz olarak sunmakla yükümlüdür.
i- Eser sahipleri, FilmFreeway başvurusu sırasında filmleriyle ilgili tüm materyalleri (afiş, fragman, görsel ve benzeri tanıtım materyalleri) eksiksiz olarak yüklemekle yükümlüdür.
j-Eser sahipleri, festival tarafından talep edilmesi halinde filmle ilgili promptları ve üretim süreç bilgilerini paylaşmakla yükümlüdür.
2- Yarışma Kategorileri
a- Yarışmalar ulusal ve uluslararası olmak üzere iki ana kategoride yapılmaktadır.
b- Yarışmaya kurmaca, animasyon ve belgesel dallarındaki ulusal ve uluslararası tüm filmler katılabilir.
3- Değerlendirme Süreci ve Değerlendirme Kriterleri
a- Filmler, senaryo, yapay zeka kullanımı, görsel efektler ve genel estetik bütünlük gibi kriterler üzerinden değerlendirilecektir.
b- Ön seçici kurul ve ana jüri festival yönetimi tarafında belirlenir.
c- Başvurulan filmler ön jüri elemesinden geçecektir. Bu elemeden geçen filmler ana jüri tarafından değerlendirilecektir. Ana jürinin kararı nihai karardır ve değiştirilemez.
4-Seçilen Filmlerin İlanı
Festival Yönetimi tarafından değerlendirilerek yarışmaya hak kazanan filmler, festivalin resmi internet sitesinden ve medya aracılığıyla duyurulur.
5- Ödüller
a- Yarışmada, her kategoride dereceye giren bir filme ödül heykeli verilecektir.
6- Tanıtım ve Yayın Hakları
a- Festivalin tanıtımı amacıyla filmlerden küçük kesitler veya fragmanlar farklı mecralarda (televizyon, radyo ve internet) gösterilebilir.
b- Telif hakları konusunda sorumluluk eser sahibinindir. Eser sahipleri, eserlerinin festival sırasında gösterilmesi ve tanıtım amacıyla kullanılmasını kabul ederler.
c- Seçkiye seçilen eserler, izleyiciye yönetiminin uygun gördüğü salonlarda sunulur. Filmlerin gösteriminden dolayı herhangi bir telif ücreti talep edilmez.
d- Seçkiye seçilen filmlerin gösterimi ticari amaç ile kullanılmayacaktır.
e- Eser sahibi, filmin tamamen yasal ve telif haklarına uygun olduğunu taahhüt eder.
7- Genel Kurallar
a- Eser sahibi filmin yapımcısı veya yönetmenidir.
a- Yarışmaya seçilen filmlerin ilanından sonra eser sahipleri filmlerini festivalden çekemezler.
b- Eser sahibi online başvuruyu tamamladığında yarışmanın tüm kurallarını kabul etmiş sayılır.
c- Başvuru koşullarını ve kurallarını yerine getirmeyen eser sahibinin filmi, elemeyi geçse bile festival yönetimi tarafından filmi yarışma dışı bırakılabilir.
d- Seçkiye seçilen filmler için gerekli görüldüğünde eser hakkında festival yönetimi tarafından istenen ek belgelerin (afiş, dijital kopya vb.) eser sahipleri tarafından gönderilmesi gerekir.
8- Dil ve Altyazı
a- Orijinal dili Türkçe olan filmler için İngilizce altyazı, orijinal dili Türkçe olmayan filmler ise Türkçe ve İngilizce alt yazı olmalıdır.
b- Eser sahipleri, başvuru esnasında filmlerine ait Türkçe altyazı dosyasını veya .srt formatındaki altyazı dosyasını sisteme yüklemek zorundadır.
9-Festival Yönetimi Hakları
a- Yarışmanın yapılabilmesi için en az 20 filmin katılmış ve ön değerlendirmeyi geçmiş olması gerekir.
b- Festival filmlerin seçimi ile ilgili açıklama yapmama hakkını saklı tutar.
c- Festival yönetimi gerekli gördüğünde jüri karar toplantısına oy hakkı olmayan gözlemci atayabilir.
d- Jüri kararı, jüri üyelerinin imzası bulunan bir tutanak ile kayıt altına alınır. Bu karar, jüri başkanı tarafından festival yönetimine teslim edilir.
e- Festival yönetimi, gerekli gördüğü takdirde festival yönetmeliğinde değişiklik yapma hakkına sahiptir.
