I didn't get to spend as much time at the festival as I wanted, but the venue and the quality of the screenings were great. The communication from the festival was top notch and they do a fantastic job promoting the festival locally.

Great communication from the festival director - Rock. The directors seem to have a genuine love for independent film, do a job of getting local press to publicize the event and they make an effort to have social opportunities for festival participants; I'd definitely recommend to any filmmaker or aspiring filmmaker within a neighboring state.

Sadly we couldn't attend the Sunny Side Up Film Festival, but we promise that we will attend next time around. We are very grateful to Rock and Brenda Whitehead for communicating very quickly and efficiently with us throughout the festival . We loved the way that they had different ways of promoting the festival by including the participants with different ways of showcasing their films, poster competitions, the chance to sponsor an award, a fantastic social media campaign that kept public interest going.
The best bit was that we were nominated in two categories and won 2 awards for our short film 'Get Riel'. Thank you so much for everything.
