Unfortunately, the festival was cancelled this year due to COVID19, but that did not stop Rock and Brenda from putting all of the films online and also live streaming the award ceremony. The live streaming event went on without a hitch, and I know that myself and many others were glued to our computer screens in anticipation of the award announcements! Overall, I think the festival was an absolutely GREAT online festival...... I ALWAYS look forward to Rock and Brenda's festivals, which also includes The Wild Bunch Film Festival and now The Cowpoke Film Festival. Thank you again Sunny Side Up Film Festival for a great 2020, and I'm already looking forward to 2021!

This festival was very kind and quick to communicate. I wish I could've been there but it was canceled due to COVID19. However, the awards were sent via mail very quickly and the organizers were very hospitable.

The virus caused Rock and Brenda to rethink on their toes how to still have this event. I've been to a number of festivals and Rock/Brenda put on a festival better than the others. The last one of theirs I attended was a lot more than showing films. We had great networking, made new forever friends, and the activities and movie tours were great fun.
Be sure to enter their other festivals too - Wild Bunch and Cowpokes.

    March 2020
    Response from festival:

Thank you so much Jay! Your film "Smile" was great! Congrats to your film team! They all rock! We're all looking forward to seeing your new film project, "Vinegar to Honey" get made in the very near future!

  • So sorry we couldn't meet in person but this festival by far was the best at communicating status and what was going on. And they even came up with a way to watch all of the films. I am so excited to watch the films next weekend. Great job, I will definitely submit again to this festival in the future!!
