  • The Sundar Prize Film Festival was everything I wanted it to be and more. Every member of the team was so kind and helpful. Their communication and commitment to the filmmakers was the best I've seen at any festival. The blocks were beautiful collections of films that came from all different backgrounds and perspectives. I had heard that the Sundar Prize Film Festival truly takes care of its filmmakers, and that turned out to be absolutely true. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend in person due to ongoing work commitments, but I was deeply impressed by how thoughtfully the team supports filmmakers and makes them feel welcome.

They genuinely make an effort to connect filmmakers with one another and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that feels like home.

Thank you so much, and I hope to attend in person in the future!

For a new festival, only in its 3rd year, the Sundar Prize Film Festival is very well organized. They offer amazing awards for the films, truly support filmmakers - especially in BC and are extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. I was very happy with the screening of my feature Mildlife, and appreciate that they screen short films before features. I will be applying again in the future!
