Slash Eyes International Film Festival (SEIFF) is a festival that is open to all cultures and all different ways of looking at reality. We will accept your proposal with the respect and dignity it deserves. If you are a creator with an original and different vision, then this is the ideal place for you.

We place a high value on originality and champion the work of creators who may not be understood by the more traditional circuits.

We are based on the island of Mallorca, one of the places with the greatest potential for recognition and exposure in the world. You can take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your work and to promote yourself as a filmmaker.

The monthly winners will receive a certificate. At the end of the competition, the best films will be awarded a Golden Blade at the Slash Eyes Awards Gala on the island of Mallorca.

a festival in its first year and i was glad to be a part. the location was walkable; places to explore in the city were beautiful; getting around the city/island by bus was incredible; and the people were welcoming. the festival was beyond what i expected and a joy to meet fellow filmmakers.

  • I love everything this festival is about—the way it celebrates cinematic talent and brings together such an amazing community of artists and film lovers. I’m beyond grateful that my short film The Days of Knight: Chapter 1 was officially selected and even won a couple of awards! Huge thanks to the judges and everyone who makes this festival so special. I can’t wait to share my next short with you all. See you again soon!

I am honored to have had the Spanish premier of my work as a writer-director take place at the first edition of the Slash Eyes International Film Festival in late August of 2025. I hope there will be many more such public installments as the programming seems to fulfill a niche somewhere between independent, avant-garde, micro-budget, esoteric, and uncategorizable. It serves as a welcome antidote to the usual middle-of-the-road streaming slop. I was unable be there in person but the Rivoli Aficine Cinema in Palma de Mallorca looks like a very nice venue for such a showcase.

  • Shocking, exciting, fresh! “Slash Eyes” is a most amazing festival. SUCH an important outlet for this genre of artistic work. Having our film, DADDYLOVE, included with these avant-garde LGBT+ filmmakers is awesomes. Quality films, excellent communication and networking. Their publicity spans across many social media platforms giving the films splendid PR. Thanks to the entire team.
