The 3rd annual Silver Falls Film Festival will be a celebration of film and storytelling in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley, hosted by the Silverton Arts Association. The festival will be held at the Palace Theatre, the beautiful historic movie house in the center of Silverton, a town known for its impassioned arts community.

Selected short films will screen on an evening in late August 2025– exact date to be announced soon. We hope to highlight creative voices from around our neighborhood, and around the world– submit your film and join us!

A local cohort of judges from a variety of artistic disciplines select the short films for the program and present several awards the night of the festival.

Though I wasn’t able to attend, I asked some family to go check it out. Both years in a row I was honored with an official selection! Communication was great and I hope to submit and be able to travel and see in person in the future.
