OBJECTIVES
The general goal of the festival is to open a new horizon in the world of art and purposeful cinema, in addition to its ability to shed light through artistic production that is compatible with vital issues in the world today. As well as enhancing capabilities and building motivational and supportive capacities for art and innovation.
- Providing a meeting point for talented students, young artists and emerging filmmakers around the world to share their passion and knowledge related to filmmaking.
- Creating a positive trend towards purposeful art and the necessity of applying it in interpreting value and human phenomena.
- Identify the role of artistic and cinematic production in developing human knowledge and building civilization in the past and present.
- Representing artistic and creative capabilities in the field of arts and communication sciences.
- Empowering young talents to develop their abilities in the film industry and arts skills.
- Providing the appropriate conditions to encourage and guide young talents to produce their meaningful stories and films.
- Taking advantage of the potential of young talents in developing cognitive and artistic boundaries.
- Encouraging young artists and filmmakers and enabling them to achieve better quality for their films.
- Providing a new and reliable platform for young artists around the world to express their opinions and problems.
- Contributing to the implementation of authentic, purposeful art by introducing the most important issues in the world.
- An honorary award was allocated under the name “Gaza” for the best work in each category that addresses issues of right and wrong and what is happening in Gaza.
- The winner of the best work among all participants receives the gold award, which represents support for the production of a short film within international standards. (Special terms and conditions apply).
- All those who qualify for the final stage will receive certificates proving this.
- The first three winners in the categories of children, youth, students, and youth, in addition to the second and third winners in the filmmakers category, will receive in-kind technological prizes that are useful in developing their talent or specialty.
- The first place winner in the Filmmaker category will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
- The festival will screen all finalist films for each category at the closing ceremony.
- The festival will display a selection of semi-finalist films on its social media pages.
- All participants whose works are accepted for the first qualifiers will receive certificates of participation.
- Owners of businesses that are rejected from the beginning do not receive any documents confirming their participation.
