Shashone Lambert-Short was born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y., Shashone has performed in theatre, independent films, and television. Not one to complain about the lack of work, Shashone began writing. She has been accepted into the writing program at the Writers Guild Foundation. Her full-length play “Holy Intervention” was invited to be a part of the Playwrights of Color Summit with Quicksilver Theatre Company. She was accepted into the Playwrights Bootcamp with the Frank Silvera Writers Workshop, in which her play, “Dying to Party” was chosen to be produced. She has also written a webseries, “Investments The Series” and Short Film, “Beautiful Killer”. Both projects have been accepted into several film festivals and have even won awards, including Best Webseries and Best Short Film. Whether an actor or a writer, Shashone Lambert-Short prides herself on bringing excellence to any project she’s blessed to be a part of.
