Submission Guidelines
A. General Regulations
👉 Only films that have been registered can be considered for selection.
👉 In order to submit a film, the submitter must own the rights or have permission from the owner. The Sequiff reserves the right to demand appropriate proof of these rights and to reject the submission upon failure to provide it.
👉 Film registrations are accepted exclusively online at www.quantamanage.com
👉 Submission deadlines must be met without exception:
👉 Feature-length films (minimum running time of 60 min): registration of films and receipt of selection screeners by October 10. Extended deadline: October 18.
👉 Short films (running time up to 30 min): registration of films and receipt of selection screeners by October 10.Extended deadline: October 18.
👉 Only films completed in the 2 years prior to the start of the festival may be registered.
👉 Documentary forms can be submitted to all sections.
👉 The Festival committee reserves the right to rule on any cases not provided for in these guidelines individually.
👉 Sequiff can consider any film to be disqualified if the festival committee considers the content inappropriate. If you have any questions regarding this decision, you might contact us at contact@quantamanage.com.
👉 By submitting your film, you authorize Sequiff to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills in our social media.
👉 Sequiff does not require a Premier status for your submitted film.
👉 Every film presented in the Sequiff program receives a certificate of participation following the festival.
👉 The participant must ensure that the official festival logo for Sequiff is clearly visible on all advertising and promotional measures for the participating films.
B. Processing Fee
👉 Films will only be considered for selection after the processing fee is received. The fee is requested to cover administrative costs and will not be reimbursed under any circumstance.
The fee for submitting a feature length film is - $30 (regardless of the number of sections for which the film is entered.)
The fee for short films is $15.
C. Payment methods
Payment of the fees can only be made online on our website.
D. Selection Screeners
Any foreign film that is not in English must have English subtitles.
E. Submission of Film
Upload the film file to Swiss Transfer or Vimeo and email us the link at contact@quantamanage.com after the online film registration process is complete.
Please ensure that the submission complies with the Sequiff’s technical format specifications for selection screeners (file upload).
F. Technical Specification
This year, we will accept only online submission of all major video formats in full quality HD with a 10GB file size limit.
By submitting the registration form, the film submitter agrees that the festival retains submitted films until the end of the festival (November 7, 2022). The submitter also agrees that selection screeners will be made available online to the festival committee for the purpose of selection.
G. Photos, Press kits, Posters
The participant must provide the following material:
film stills (minimum width 1600 pixel & minimum height 1100 pixel, JPG/TIFF) and a portrait of the director (minimum width 303 pixel & minimum height 404 pixel, JPG/TIFF) – with captions – in electronic form
film poster in electronic form (300dpi JPG of 13x18 cm)
press kit as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file (max. 3 MB)
The images will also be used for the SEQUIFF’s publicly available print products (festival publications) and online media (websites, apps, social media channels) where they will remain available without any time or territorial restrictions.
