Tal Anderson is an L.A.-based actor and filmmaker, most known for her roles as Sid in the Netflix series Atypical, and as Gia in Prime Video’s As We See It. She has been a storyteller since childhood, where she started making her own films using a hand-held FLIP video camera. Her love of movies and respect for their impact on people, inspired her to receive her B.S. in Film from Full Sail University, where she graduated as Valedictorian before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. When not on set, Tal works as a professional editor, freelancing for independent creators on shorts, features, and web series. She is an AVID Media Composer Certified user, and is highly proficient in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Adobe CC applications. She flexes her creative muscles when able, with writing, producing and editing her own films, several of which have received awards for both directing and editing. She has completed post-production on 15 films in 5 years.
When it comes to her presence in the public eye, Tal wants people to see her as a real person who’s accomplishing their job passionately and authentically, while doing their best to advocate for equality, disability representation, and inclusion.
