Wexford town on the southeast coast of Ireland plays host to the inaugural ‘Scare The Sheet Out Of Us’ horror film festival on October November 6th 2021. Wexford Arts Center is the venue for the first ever ‘Scare The Sheet Out Of Us’ horror film festival.

Wexford county is famous for having the most haunted house in Ireland. Loftus Hall where one wet and stormy night the devil himself played a game of cards with the unsuspecting occupants.

Our aim on November 6th 2021 is to "scare the sheet" out of everybody who attends this horror film festival by screening a selection of the most gruesome, scariest, bloodiest, murderous short and feature length film stories from around the world.

By submitting material to us you agree to and accept the following terms and conditions.

You retain full ownership and copyrights to your submission/s and simply grant Scare The Sheet Out Of Us.com the non-exclusive right to broadcast same or elements thereof at our festivals, onsite at Scare The Sheet Out Of Us.com and part of or trailers on our web app. and social channels on all devices.

Any genre is allowed but it MUST BE HORROR related. All submissions must be in English. If not in English they must have English subtitles.

All Screenplays and short screenplays must be in English*

The Judges reserve the right to not choose a winner in a certain category or sub-category if we feel there is not sufficiently strong enough contender or outstanding winner in such a category.

We only accept submissions via FilmFreeway. If selected the submitter must supply their work in .mov or mp4 format. Only submit content you have full rights to use. You can submit to any category any number of times. If your submission includes public domain
images or footage please be certain of it's PD Status. The submitter must have all relevant permissions regarding music and soundtracks used in their films. Scare The Sheet Out Of Us organizers will not be held liable in any shape or form for the breaking of these rules.

There is no limit to the number of submissions allowed per applicant. However you must submit each video separately. No refunds are available once a submission has been made. Your submission must have been created after January 1st 2016. No part or
unfinished work will be selected. No correspondence re. submissions can be entered into unless initiated by Scare The Sheet Out Of Us organizers.

Scare The Sheet Out Of Us organizers reserves the right to hold the award ceremony behind closed doors in line with Ireland's Covid restrictions or any similar pandemic if they are in force at the time of the scheduled event. In this case there will be no refunds, however winners will still receive their awards and laurels.
