Set in Italy, SPASMO FEST is a true and unique show with a short horror movie contest, live concerts and artist exhibitions!

We are looking for HORROR MOVIES and the budget of your work, higher or lower, it's not a limit for us...if you movie is good!

We don't put any limit about year of realization of your movie...we can accept a short from 1990 until now!

There is no limit to the year of production of the short that is submitted in the festival.

Unico nel suo genere , lo SPASMO FEST è un autentico show durante il quale ci sarà un concorso di cortometraggi horror, concerti dal vivo, stand di effetti speciali ed esibizioni di artisti!

I corti per il Festival dovranno essere rigorosamente horror senza nessun limite di budget ne di anno di distribuzione (verrano accettati film creati dal 1990 fino a oggi)

- MIGLIOR CORTO
- MIGLIOR REGISTA
- WEIRD KING (per i lungometraggi e corti più bizzarri )
- EXTREME AWARD
- JURY AWARD

Regole e termini:
- Sono ben accetti film da tutto il mondo ma rigorosamente sottotitolati in inglese
- I film italiani possono essere presentati senza sottotitoli.
- Non c'è limite all'anno di produzione del lungometraggio o del cortometraggio presentato al festival.
- Ogni lavoro inviato deve essere di proprietà dell'autore e non deve violare alcuna legge sul copyright o altri diritti di terze parti.
- Tutte le informazioni e le locandine dei film delle opere che verranno presentate potranno essere utilizzate dal festival
fare promozione, per gli autori delle opere e per il festival stesso.
- Tutte le quote di iscrizione non sono rimborsabili

Rules & Terms

- We accept movies from all around the world but it's important that they will have english subtitles.
- Italian movies can be submitted without subtitles.
- There is no limit to the year of production of the feature or short that is submitted in the festival.
- Every submitted work must be property of the author and must not infringe any copyright law or any other rights of any third parties.
- All infos and movie posters of the works that will be submitted can be used by the festival
to make promotion, for the authors of the works and for the festival itself.
- All entry fees are not refundable

    Ringraziamo ancora Alex e tutto il team di Spasmo Fest 5. Il nostro cortometraggio Haiku 27 ha ricevuto ben due riconoscimenti, Best Short e Best Vfx. Per noi è un ritorno a casa, visto che il festival si è svolto nello stesso quartiere in cui è nata Aqua Arida Production. Un evento che unisce musica, cinema e intrattenimento. Consigliato ai registi esordienti e non.

    I was delighted to be able to personally participate in this event, created by the passion and love of the curators. The audience was large and enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The combination of film screenings and concerts is a winning combination. It would be wonderful if every festival of this kind were based on the same informal and friendly spirit.

    Ma che dire?! Stupendo e divertente. Un festival realmente underground, che fa incontrare musica estrema e cinema degli eccessi. Corti fighissimi e band veramente bravissime. Tappa fissa sempre.
