The SIETAR Europa Virtual Institute Film Festival is a bi-annual online event born to promote interculturality by creating awareness about social, cultural and human rights issues.

The Festival aims to support the dissemination and promotion of intercultural education, training and research, promoting intercultural cinema.

The SIETAR Europa Virtual Institute Film Festival screen selected film as part of its Virtual Institute.

The Festival also features workshops on filmmaking and master classes.

Each film screened is followed by an interactive program that may consist of Q&A´S with Filmmakers, discussions with the audience, panel discussions, and/or debates with experts, politicians, journalists or representatives from stakeholder organizations where intercultural themes are clearly embedded.

The SEU Virtual Institute Film Festival 2023, to be held in online between 23 rd of June to 07 of July , welcomes filmmakers whose work puts them at the interface of cultures.

Its offers a meeting place for interculturalists, filmmakers and other professional artists from different cultural backgrounds.The SEVIFEST is an internationally resource for Filmmakers and Artists, is a Film Festival and artistic academic development programs for Film and Arts.

The SEVIFEST seeks to advance the impact of interculturality throughout the world.

Rules & Terms

The SEVIFEST is organized by SIETAR Europa from June 23rd to July 07, 2023.

SIETAR‘s purpose is to encourage the development and application of knowledge, values and skills which enable effective intercultural and interethnic relations at individual, group, organisation and community levels.

SIETAR Europa serves as a forum for exchange among national SIETAR organizations and supports the establishment and development of new national SIETAR organizations. SIETAR subscribes to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and works towards the elimination of every kind of discrimination based on race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, family and marital status, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.

The objectif of the SIETAR Europa Virtual Film Festival is to promote interculturality education, training and research using intercultural cinema.

To be admitted each film must meet the following requirements:

- Films have to not exceed 37 minutes in lenght. All genres are accepted.
