Para todos los casos, rigen los siguientes criterios y condiciones:
APARTADO 1
Condiciones de participación:
• Podrán participar series web de ficción, documental y animación, así como productos audiovisuales de animación digital y videojuegos, podcast, hechos en dichos formatos para cualquier plataforma digital y/o redes sociales.
• El Comité Directivo del festival realizará una preselección de los trabajos en competencia; la lista con los precalificados será anunciada con la debida anticipación a través de nuestros canales oficiales (página web y redes sociales entre otros).
• Se aceptarán trabajos con fecha de producción, publicación y/o comercialización, desde el 1 de enero de 2022 al 30 de junio de 2023.
• Las series y/o contenido audiovisual deben contar con un mínimo de cuatro capítulos publicados o estrenados en alguna plataforma online.
• El tiempo de duración no puede exceder los diez minutos por capítulo; caso contrario, el comité seleccionador se reservará el derecho de admisión.
• Para las siguientes categorías se debe tomar en cuenta:
• Animación Digital: La temática es libre, tanto narrativa como experimental; se recomienda una duración no mayor a los 10 minutos.
• Videojuegos: Pueden presentarse en versión “beta” y/o finalizados.
• Podcast: La temática será libre, sin límite de tiempo por episodio. Sin embargo, debe de ser una realización seriada, es decir, contar con más de 4 episodios.
• Cortometrajes de ficción y no ficción: Se aceptarán proyectos universitarios, y/o de instituciones de educación superior tanto peruanos como del extranjero. Se debe reconocer el trabajo aficionado o semiprofesional de las propuestas, así como evidenciar y contar con la aprobación de difusión de la casa de estudios de donde provienen los trabajos. Este año, se considerarán ejercicios audiovisuales realizados por estudiantes de quinto año de secundaria de los colegios de Perú.
• Se podrá participar con un máximo de hasta 4 proyectos por productora y/o participante (dueño o representante de los derechos).
• La inscripción en el Series Web Awards implica la aceptación de este reglamento, los términos y condiciones, así como también la autoridad del Comité Directivo, organizador del evento.
APARTADO 2
Sobre la inscripción y los plazos:
REQUISITOS
• La inscripción es gratuita y se hará de manera online en el portal FilmFreeway hasta el 31 de julio de 2023.
• El productor o representante legal, quien tenga a cargo los derechos, debe manifestar ante el Comité Directivo su deseo de participación, antes de la fecha de cierre. Esto lo realizará a través de la ficha de inscripción, que deberá llenar por cada proyecto presentado, y seguir el proceso detallado en FilmFreeway.
• La ficha de inscripción tiene la validez de una Declaración Jurada.
• Cualquier incumplimiento a las normas de inscripción, será motivo de descalificación del o los participantes.
• Podrán participar:
o Productores independientes que desarrollen propuestas audiovisuales para diversas plataformas, y redes sociales.
o Escolares que cursen el quinto año de secundaria (Solo se aceptarán propuestas de colegios del Perú)
o Estudiantes de institutos tecnológicos y/o universidades de todo el mundo.
• No se tolerarán temas de discriminación social, racial y de sexo. Tampoco ningún contenido con sesgo ofensivo contra cualquier país, comunidad o grupo social.
• La participación de los realizadores debe estar sustentado en el principio de respeto mutuo a todo nivel.
APARTADO 3
Sobre las Categorías
El Series Web Awards 2023, incluye una selección oficial y la calificación de un jurado internacional, experto en cada una de las categorías.
Habrá cuatro categorías donde el ganador será determinado por público podrá votar a través de la página web oficial del festival
o Influencer revelación (Válido solo para Perú)
o Mejor Serie Web Votación del Público.
o Mejor serie de no ficción quinto de secundaria.
o Mejor cortometraje categoría estudiantes – Perú.
• En el caso de los colegios, podrán participar votando por sus candidatos en la categoría “Mejor Web Serie Intercolegios 2023”.
• Las notas de prensa y anuncios de los ganadores podrán verse a partir de la última semana del mes agosto.
• El Comité Directivo considera las siguientes categorías en concurso:

• El Comité Directivo del festival se reserva el derecho de otorgar premios especiales, que no estén vinculadas necesariamente en las categorías descritas párrafos arriba.
• El Comité Directivo del festival dará a conocer públicamente a los ganadores de las diversas categorías en la ceremonia de premiación.
• Posteriormente hará difusión a través de redes sociales, de los ganadores de todas las categorías.
APARTADO 4
Criterios de Evaluación:
• Los criterios de evaluación son los siguientes:
- Coherencia del concepto del proyecto con el resultado
- Creatividad, innovación y funcionalidad
- Optimización de recursos y/o medios
- Contribución al desarrollo audiovisual en la web
- Contribución al desarrollo de videojuegos
- Originalidad e impacto a nivel de público
- Impacto en redes sociales
APARTADO 5
Sobre la forma de presentación
Todos los proyectos deberán ser presentados de la siguiente manera:
• En el caso de las series web, el productor o representante legal debe enviar un link por capítulo seleccionado, y de ser el caso, la contraseña de acceso.
• Para las animaciones digitales y videojuegos, tendrán que considerar los links de descarga, y de ser el caso, la contraseña de acceso.
• Los capítulos seleccionados deberán ser subtitulados en inglés, en caso de que no estén ese idioma o en español, en su versión original.
• Los productores y distribuidores que participen en el festival deberán incluir en toda publicidad y material de prensa (en cualquier medio de difusión), el reconocimiento de pertenecer a la “Selección Oficial”, empleando el logotipo del Series Web Awards.
• De igual forma, los productores y distribuidores que hayan sido reconocidos y premiados en cualquiera de las categorías del festival deberán incluir en toda publicidad y material de prensa, en cualquier medio de difusión, el logotipo del festival.
• En el caso de las series web, la inscripción debe ir acompañada por una ficha técnica completa por capítulo presentado, en donde se incluya lo siguiente:
o Sinopsis
o Biografía del director y productor
o Créditos del personal técnico y artístico
o 03 fotos de la serie en alta resolución
• Para las animaciones digitales, la inscripción debe ir acompañada por una ficha técnica completa, en donde se incluya lo siguiente:
o Sinopsis
o Créditos del personal técnico y artístico
o 03 fotos de la animación en alta resolución
• En el caso de videojuegos, la inscripción debe ir acompañada por una ficha técnica completa, en donde se incluya lo siguiente:
o Descripción
o Créditos del personal técnico y artístico
o 03 fotos del videojuego en alta resolución
• Los mismos criterios deberán ser considerados en las demás categorías y presentaciones.
• El festival podrá emplear los datos y materiales enviados por los productores, así como fragmentos de las producciones concursantes, reservándose los derechos en lo que considere necesario para la difusión y publicidad del evento.
• No se aceptarán envíos ni otro tipo de información que no haya sido requerida mediante la página oficial del festival y/o a través de la versión del SWA alojada en el FilmFreeway.
• Se aceptarán plataformas como: YouTube, Vimeo y cualquier otra plataforma de streaming y/o redes sociales.
APARTADO 6
Sobre el jurado:
• El jurado evaluará cada proyecto y elegirá tanto a los finalistas y ganadores del concurso. La calificación se realizará en base a los criterios de evaluación, y la asignación de premios se otorgarán tras deliberación del jurado, tomando en cuenta el promedio de puntaje obtenido en la calificación general, según rúbrica elaborada por el Comité Directivo del festival.
• Cada jurado será elegido por el Comité Directivo, con anticipación, entendiendo que cada uno es considerado como experto en la categoría a premiar.
• Siendo el jurado la autoridad máxima, sus decisiones son inapelables.
• Sus facultades son: interpretar el reglamento, resolver cualquier consideración no prevista, declarar a los ganadores de cada categoría, declarar desiertos los premios a las categorías que no hubiesen alcanzado los estándares esperados, ampliar y/o modificar categorías en función de las piezas y/o proyectos presentados.
APARTADO 7
Sobre los premios:
Premio por categoría y votación del público: Trofeo SWA y diploma de reconocimiento.
El Comité Directivo se reserva el derecho de otorgar premios especiales como “menciones honrosas” u otros, según su propio criterio.
APARTADO 8
Sobre derechos de imagen y propiedad intelectual
El Comité Directivo:
• Asume que todos los proyectos inscritos para participar en el SWA 2023 son originales y el participante los inscribe con el respeto de todas las normas de propiedad intelectual.
• Asume que el productor que inscribe un proyecto cuenta con la autorización de la empresa productora o propietarios intelectuales.
• Puede descalificar automáticamente al o los participantes(s) que considere, ante cualquier controversia con respecto a los puntos anteriores u otras.
• Asume que el participante autoriza la publicación de las producciones correspondientes a los proyectos concursantes, en medios y vehículos promocionales, además de la página web.
• El festival no se hace responsable por información incorrecta suministrada por los participantes.
• Se reserva el derecho de descalificar determinados proyectos si en las votaciones públicas se observa algún tipo de comportamiento sospechoso (intento de hackeo, manipulación de votos, etc.)
• Una vez inscrita su participación, los competidores aceptan las condiciones del evento y acepta las políticas y decisiones.
Importante:
Solo las categorías a correspondientes a “Mejor Serie Web votación del público”, “Mejor cortometraje estudiantil”, “Mejor webserie de ficción”, “Mejor webserie de no ficción” (estas dos últimas categorías corresponden a los trabajos hechos por alumnos de quinto de secundaria de colegios a nivel nacional), se inscribirán y serán votados a través de la página web oficial del festival.

CHAPTER 2
About registration and deadlines:

o The participation of filmmakers must be based on the principle of mutual respect at all levels.
CHAPTER 3
About the Categories
• The Series Web Awards 2023, includes an official selection and the qualification of an international jury, expert in each of the categories.

CHAPTER 5

• The festival may use the data and materials sent by the producers, as well as fragments of the competing productions, reserving the rights in what it deems necessary for the dissemination and publicity of the event.
• Submissions or other information that has not been required through the official website of the festival and / or through the version of the SWA hosted on the FilmFreeway will not be accepted.

CHAPTER 6
About the jury:
• The jury will evaluate each project and choose both the finalists and winners of the contest. The qualification will be made based on the evaluation criteria, and the allocation of prizes will be awarded after deliberation of the jury, taking into account the average score obtained in the general qualification, according to the rubric prepared by the Steering Committee of the festival.
• Each jury will be chosen by the Festival Committee, in advance, understanding that each one is considered an expert in the category to be awarded.
• Since the jury is the highest authority, its decisions are final.
• Its powers are: interpret the regulations, resolve any unforeseen considerations, declare the winners of each category, declare void the prizes to the categories that have not reached the expected standards, expand and / or modify categories depending on the pieces and / or projects presented.
CHAPTER 7
About the awards:
• Award by category and public vote: SWA Trophy and diploma of recognition.
• The Steering Committee reserves the right to award special awards such as "honorable mentions" or others, at its sole discretion.
CHAPTER 8
• About image rights and intellectual property
• The Steering Committee:
• • Assumes that all projects registered to participate in SWA 2023 are original and the participant registers them with respect for all intellectual property rules.
• Assumes that the producer who registers a project has the authorization of the production company or intellectual owners.
• You may automatically disqualify the participant(s) you consider, in any dispute regarding the above or other points.
• Assumes that the participant authorizes the publication of the productions corresponding to the competing projects, in media and promotional vehicles, in addition to the website.
• The festival is not responsible for incorrect information provided by participants.
• It reserves the right to disqualify certain projects if any type of suspicious behavior is observed in public voting (attempted hacking, manipulation of votes, etc.)
• Once their participation is registered, competitors accept the conditions of the event and accept the policies and decisions.
Important notice:
Only the categories corresponding to "Best Web Series Public Voting", "Best Student Short Film", "Best Fiction Webseries", "Best Non-Fiction Webseries" (these last two categories correspond to the works made by fifth year high school students nationwide), will be registered and voted through the official website of the festival.
