Madakto Pictures is an independent international film production and distribution company owned by Mohammad Towrivarian, an Iranian Kurdish filmmaker born in 1992 in the city of Sanandaj in the west of Iran. This film production and film distribution company was established in Tehran and its main office is currently in Tehran. Mohammad entered the field of cinema in 2006 after studying directing. So far, he has made 4 short films and has written the script of a series. He has experience and expertise in film technical fields, including sound recording, editing, planning, writing, directing, distribution and film marketing. Also, during his years of activity in various fields of cinema, he has been involved in the production of many films from Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan, where he has been the soundrecordist of several series and feature films. He has collaborated with well-known Iranian directors, including the late Dariush Mehrjooi, Bahman ghobadi, and in collaboration with Bahman ghobadi, he was able to participate in Berlin, Sundance, Munich, Sao Paulo and Asia Pacific festivals. Mohammad distributed the film with self short films starting in 2012, and his films have participated in more than 150 international festivals and won various awards from US, Spain, Italy, Russia, and Switzerland.
In continuation of Muhammad’s activities, Madakto Pictures started working independently and officially in 2020, in the first year we distributed a short film called Sligh Pain directed by Pouya Nabi in the world, and in the second year we received another film. From the success of that film in the third year, we signed a deal for 5 short films and one feature film, and six months later our films reached 10 short films and 3 feature films, and now we are about to enter the fourth year. We have been Contract for distribution at the global level to be presented to festivals and markets with a series; 5 feature films, one documentary film; And 15 short films and one documentary animation film from India.
