Rutherford Film Festival

- Entries must be submitted via Film Freeway’s online screener option.
- All films/videos must have been completed AFTER January 2023.
- There are no film premiere requirements.
- Foreign-language works must be dubbed or subtitled in English.
- Films with US distribution (obtained prior to being selected for RFF screening) or films produced, financed or initiated by a major film studio or television network are ineligible for competition, but may be considered for a special screening.
- For selected films, the exhibition file format is as follows: 1920 x 1080, Stereo (2CH Audio) H.264 .MP4 25GB Max Size
-Entry fees are non-refundable.

PLEASE PROVIDE ACCURATE EMAIL AND CONTACT INFORMATION. If upon acceptance, we cannot get in contact with you regarding your film/promotional materials in a timely manner, we will not be able to include your film in the live event.

Additionally,
- RFF does not pay screening fees or travel expenses at this time
- Filmmakers are encouraged to include subtitles/closed captioning and audio description tracks.
- Entry into the festival constitutes agreement with all festival rules and guidelines and implies permission to exhibit work during the festival. Also, it provides permission to exhibit trailers/posters/promotional material of the film in marketing of the festival.
- RFF reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject or disqualify any ineligible entries, without a refund. All sales final.
- While RFF values it’s alumni, please note that a previous screening or relationship does not guarantee acceptance. All films compete equally for acceptance.
