Pride of the Déise promotes Irish LGBTQIA+ filmmakers and filmmaking talent, bringing their work to live audiences in Waterford via this Queer Vision Film Festival. Founded in Waterford, Ireland, in 2019, our exciting programmes have previously been presented at online and live events in various venues in Waterford City (Garter Lane Arts Centre, Bank Lane, Waterford Gallery of Art).

We were delighted to have our LGBT short "PLEASE BE NORMAL" screened at Queer Vision. It was an honour to be selected alongside a fantastic line-up. Our DP was in attendance and reported that the screening went very well. Thanks Éadaoin for your kind correspondence, we hope to be back!

    Response from festival:

Thanks Tania. We loved your film - best of luck with all creative endeavours in the future. We can't wait to see them.

  • We at Emerald City are so proud that our EU Premiere was at Queer Vision -- we're sorry we couldn't be there in person, but the festival team and Pride of the Déise did an excellent job keeping us informed about the events and our screening as well as publicizing extensively on social media. A great fest experience for us.
