An exciting night featuring the Irish Language and productions in Irish, some Audience Award films and the essential LGBTQIA+ Representation category as well. This evening is hosted in the venue Bank Lane in Waterford City which has a full bar and seating area outside, whilst the screening will be in a newly renovated performance and event space to the rear. There will be three stages to our exciting line up:
To begin, at 5 o'clock we invite those who would like to practise some of their Gaeilge very informally in a Queercal Comhrá over a cup of tea/coffee or a pint, whichever suits. At 7 o'clock we begin the screenings of Best LGBTQ Representation, Audience Award and Best Irish Language Production and at 9 o'clock we will have a panel discussion focussed on creating queer Irish language films. Finally at 10 o'clock we will have our Awards Ceremony.
