Rules & Terms

🎬 Rules & Guidelines – Posibl. Festival
Posibl. Festival is an international film festival celebrating powerful stories that inspire action and social change. Here’s what you need to know to participate:

🌍 Who Can Submit?
Filmmakers from any country.
Films in all languages are accepted.
→ English subtitles are required if your film is not in English.
→ Spanish subtitles are encouraged but optional.

Films must focus on topics like: human rights, environment, sustainability, social innovation, gender equality, vulnerable communities, and more.

🎞️ Competition Categories
- Feature Films (60+ min)
- Mid-Length Films (30–59 min)
- Short Films (under 29 min)
- Student Projects (up to 20 min)
- AI-Generated, Animation, VFX, Virtual Reality and/or Augmented Reality Projects (video can be fully created with AI; human-shot footage may be used as input. Audio may be AI-generated, from libraries, or human-made)
- Ad Campaigns & Impact Content

🎥 Screening Format
The festival will be hybrid:
In-person screenings at Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires.
Online showcases through Posibl.’s official platforms and social media.

💡 Selection Process
A jury of international professionals will review submissions.
Selected films will receive the Official Selection laurel and will be notified by email.

Commercial Distribution
​​Filmmakers submitting their works agree that, in the event their film is selected for the official program, the Festival shall be entitled non-exclusively to enter into negotiations and, where applicable, execute commercial representation agreements with international distributors, sales agents, and platforms, with the purpose of promoting, placing, and facilitating the circulation and exploitation of the work in foreign film markets. Any agreement entered into shall include confidentiality provisions, as well as commercial terms and conditions to be agreed upon with the rights holder, including, where applicable, the proportional distribution of any revenues generated in accordance with the contractual stipulations.

💸 Submission Fees & Waivers
Submission fees are non-refundable.

Fee waivers are available in special cases (low-income filmmakers, NGOs, students, underrepresented communities).
