REQUIREMENTS
> The films must never have been shown in public in any form in the province of Bozen/Bolzano and must not have been distributed in commercial cinemas in Italy; priority will, however, be given to films that have never been shown in Italy.
> Films must have been completed after 1st January 2024.

FORMATS
The only screening format accepted for participation in the section is DCP (which
must comply with DCI regulations).
ONCE SELECTED
> Once the entry has been accepted, and the selection confirmed by the person or company holding the corresponding screening rights, the film may not be withdrawn or presented in the EUREGIO (i.e. the provinces of Tyrol in Austria and South Tyrol and Trentino in Italy) before its screening at BFFB.
> The Festival will decide the date, place and order of screening of each film.
> The person or company registering the film shall provide the Festival with the following
information/documents within two days of the date of notification of selection:
- synopsis of the film (max. 500 characters),
- short biography and filmography of the director (max. 200 characters),
- 2, 3 photos of the work (300dpi),
- 1 photo of the director (300dpi),
- full pressbook / all credits,
- digital playbill (300dpi),
- trailer,
- viewing current link.
> The person or company that registered the selected film must have the final DCP screening copy sent to BFFB by 15th March 2026.
> The copy can be sent:
- via link to dcp@filmfestival.bz.it
- on hard disk by courier to FILMCLUB | Dr. Streiter-Gasse 8/D | 39100 Bozen/Bolzano

> The costs of any shipping of participating films are borne by those who have registered the film.
OTHER CONDITIONS
> Self-certification. Participants declare under their own responsibility that they comply with the requirements set out in this call for entries and that they have sufficient rights to the work they have entered to be able to participate in the Piccole Lingue DOC section of BFFB 39.
> Participants will indemnify the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen - BFFB and the Free University of Bolzano against any claims from them or third parties in relation to their works and their promotional material, as well as in relation to their registration and participation in BFFB 39, without prejudice to the corresponding compensation for damages.
> The selection of a work implies authorization to use its promotional material and to broadcast extracts on the communication channels of the BFFB or the Free University of Bolzano. Extracts will have a maximum duration of three minutes and, in any case, less than the total duration of the work.
> Each participant grants the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen - BFFB the rights to reproduce and publicly communicate their works for public exhibition as part of the Festival. Similarly, the Festival is authorised to use the name, voice and/or image of the people involved in the work, fragments and/or stills of the selected works, as well as their promotional material for broadcasting the Festival by any local, regional, national or international media. The selected works will appear in the BFFB 39 catalogue and/or in subsequent collections or catalogues.
> Registration for BFFB 39 implies acceptance of these rules and the Festival Organisers will be responsible for resolving any problems not covered by these rules.

> I film non devono essere mai stati proiettati in pubblico in nessuna forma nella provincia di Bolzano e non devono essere stati distribuiti nei cinema commerciali in Italia; sarà comunque data la priorità ai film che non siano mai stati proiettati in Italia.
> I film devono essere stati completati dopo il 1 gennaio 2024.

FORMATI - L'unico formato di proiezione accettato per la partecipazione alla sezione Ë il DCP (che deve essere conforme alle normative DCI).
UNA VOLTA SELEZIONATI
> Una volta che la partecipazione Ë stata ammessa, e la selezione confermata dalla persona o la società che detiene i diritti di proiezione corrispondenti, il film non potrà essere ritirato o presentato nell‘EUREGIO (cioè, province di Tirolo in Austria, Alto Adige e Trentino in Italia) prima della sua proiezione al BFFB.
> Il Festival deciderà la data, il luogo e l'ordine di proiezione di ogni film.
> La persona o la società che ha registrato il film fornirà al Festival la seguente informazione/i seguenti documenti entro due giorni dalla data di comunicazione della selezione:
- sinossi del film (max. 500 battute),
- biografia breve e filmografia del/lla regista (max. 200 battute),
- 2/3 foto dell’opera (300dpi),
- 1 foto del/lla regista (300dpi),
- pressbook completo / tutti i crediti,
- locandina digitale (300dpi),

> La persona o la società che ha registrato il film selezionato dovr‡ far pervenire al BFFB la
copia definitiva per la proiezione in formato DCP entro il 15 marzo 2026.

ULTERIORI CONDIZIONI
> Autocertificazione. I/le partecipanti dichiarano sotto la loro responsabilit‡ di rispettare i
requisiti stabiliti in questo bando, nonché di avere diritti sufficienti sull'opera che hanno iscritto per poter partecipare alla sezione Piccole Lingue DOC del BFFB 39.
> I/le partecipanti manterranno indenne il Bolzano Film Festival Bozen - BFFB e la Libera
Università di Bolzano da qualsiasi reclamo da parte loro o di terzi in relazione alle loro opere e al loro materiale promozionale, nonché in relazione all'iscrizione e alla loro partecipazione al BFFB 39, fatto salvo il corrispondente risarcimento dei danni.
> La selezione di un'opera implica l'autorizzazione all'uso del suo materiale promozionale e
alla trasmissione di estratti sui canali di comunicazione del BFFB o della Libera Università di Bolzano. Gli estratti avranno una durata massima di tre minuti e, in ogni caso, inferiore alla durata totale dell'opera.
> Ogni partecipante concede al Bolzano Film Festival Bozen – BFFB i diritti di riproduzione e comunicazione pubblica delle proprie opere per la loro esposizione pubblica nell'ambito del Festival. Il Festival Ë autorizzato a utilizzare il nome, la voce e/o l'immagine delle persone che fanno parte dell'opera, frammenti e/o fotogrammi delle opere selezionate, nonchÈ il loro materiale promozionale per la diffusione del Festival da parte di qualsiasi media locale, regionale, nazionale o internazionale. Le opere selezionate appariranno nel catalogo del BFFB 39 e/o in collezioni o cataloghi successivi.
> L'iscrizione al BFFB 39 implica l'accettazione delle regole di cui sopra; gli organizzatori del
Festival saranno responsabili della risoluzione di qualsiasi problema non coperto dalle stesse.

> Die Filme d¸rfen in keiner Form in der provinz Bozen ˆffentlich gezeigt worden sein und
d¸rfen nicht in kommerziellen Kinos in Italien vertrieben worden sein; bevorzugt werden Filme, die noch nie in Italien gezeigt wurden.
> Die Filme m¸ssen nach dem 1. Januar 2024 fertiggestellt worden sein.

FORMATE
- Das einzige f¸r die Teilnahme an der Sektion akzeptierte Projektionsformat ist DCP (das den DCI-Vorschriften entsprechen muss).
EINMAL ausgewählt
> Nach der Annahme der Einreichung und der Bestätigung der Auswahl durch die Person oder Firma, die die entsprechenden Vorführrechte besitzt, darf der Film vor der Vorführung auf dem BFFB nicht zurückgezogen oder in der EUREGIO (d.h. in den Bundesländern ist Ländern Tirol in Österreich sowie Südtirol und Trentino in Italien) vorgeführt werden.
> Das Festival entscheidet ¸ber Datum, Ort und Reihenfolge der Vorf¸hrung des Films.
> Die Person oder das Unternehmen, das den Film anmeldet, muss dem Festival innerhalb
von zwei Tagen nach der Benachrichtigung ¸ber die Auswahl die folgenden
Informationen/Unterlagen zukommen lassen:
- Zusammenfassung des Films (max. 500 Zeichen),
- Kurzbiografie und Filmografie des/der Regisseurs/Regisseurin (max. 200 Zeichen),
- 2, 3 Fotos des Films (300dpi),
- 1 Foto des/der Regisseurs/Regisseurin (300dpi),
- vollst‰ndiges Pressebuch / alle Credits,
- digitales Programmheft (300dpi),

WEITERE BEDINGUNGEN
> Selbsterhaltung. Die Teilnehmenden erklären in eigener Verantwortung, dass sie die in
dieser Aufforderung zur Einreichung von Beitragen genannten Anforderungen erfüllen und dass sie ¸ber ausreichende Rechte an den von ihnen eingereichten Arbeiten verfugen, um an der Sektion Kleinsprachen DOC des BFFB 39 teilnehmen zu können.
> Die Teilnehmenden stellen das Bolzano Film Festival Bozen - BFFB und die Freie
Universität Bozen von allen Ansprachen frei, die von ihnen oder von Dritten in Bezug auf ihre Werke und ihr Werbematerial sowie in Bezug auf ihre Anmeldung und Teilnahme am BFFB 39 erhoben werden, unbeschadet des entsprechenden Schadenersatzes.
> Mit der Auswahl eines Werkes wird die Genehmigung erteilt, dessen Werbematerial zu
verwenden und Auszüge ¸ber die Kommunikationskanale des BFFB oder der Freien
Universität Bozen zu senden. Die Auszüge dürfen höchstens drei Minuten dauern und müssen auf jeden Fall kürzer sein als die Gesamtdauer des Werks.
> Jeder/Jede Teilnehmer/Teilnehmerin räumt dem Bolzano Film Festival Bozen - BFFB das
Recht ein, seine/ihre Werke zu vervielfältigen und zu veröffentlichen, um sie im Rahmen des Festivals öffentlich zu zeigen. Ebenso ist das Festival berechtigt, den Namen, die Stimme und/oder das Bild der an dem Werk beteiligten Personen, Fragmente und/oder Standbilder der ausgewählten Werke sowie deren Werbematerial für die Berichterstattung ¸ber das Festival in allen lokalen, regionalen, nationalen und internationalen Medien zu verwenden. Die ausgewählten Werke werden im Katalog des BFFB 39 und/oder in späteren Sammlungen oder Katalogen erscheinen.
> Die Anmeldung zum BFFB 39 setzt die Annahme dieser Regeln voraus, und die
Organisatoren des Festivals sind für die Lösung von Problemen verantwortlich, die nicht durch diese Regeln abgedeckt sind.
