A platform, a screening space, and a collective archive. We’re building it slowly, together — for the real, raw and unfiltered. We screen films in a Pulquería, because that’s where stories feel alive — close, personal and dangerous. We host screenings, invite conversation, and build the Society... in a city that has always made room for the underground.

Paraíso Terrenal International Film Festival (PTIFF)
Hosted at Pulquería Los Insurgentes, CDMX

PTIFF invites you to share your work and your voice.

Each Wednesday, we also host the Paraíso Terrenal Film Society, our year-round screening society. Festival selections are considered for both the main event and our weekly series.

All selected films will be screened and celebrated in front of a live audience and showcased on our website. Selected films may also be programmed into our Wednesday screening series after the main festival.

All films are eligible, regardless of budget, country, language, or premiere status.

Works in any language are accepted. Please include English and/or Spanish subtitles if the film is in a different language.

No completion date limit.

Both student and non-student filmmakers are encouraged to submit.

Films made with cell phones, DV, VHS, Super 8, or other alternative formats are welcomed.

We can accept file formats in .mov, .mp4. We do not require DCP format.

Submissions must be your original work, or you must have legal rights to exhibit it.
