Owen Ljunggren is an award winning gaffer and film editor. During his time as a student attending Red Deer Polytechnic, he has worked both in the camera and lighting departments. In 2023, Owen won the Fil Fraser Best Student Production award at the 50th annual AMPIA Rosie Awards for his work on the film “The Janitor”. In 2024, a film that Owen executive produced titled “Hope You’re Doing Well” won the Best Short Narrative award at the Central Alberta Film Festival, as well as winning the Fil Fraser Best Student Production award for the second year in a row. Owen continues to work on productions all across central Alberta.
