Ben Harman is a Canadian filmmaker, and co-founder of Maestro Pictures. Ben graduated from Red Deer Polytechnic in the Film Production program in 2024. He focuses on directing and writing but has experience in several production departments including director of photography, assistant camera, and sound recording and mixing. He has worked on various student productions, including Maestro (2022), The Janitor (2023), and Hope You're Doing Well (2024). Ben won the "Best Student Film" award at the 2023 AMPIA Rosie Awards for his work on The Janitor (2023), and again in 2024 for Hope You're Doing Well. Ben also won the "Best Short Narrative" award for Hope You're Doing Well (2024) at the Central Alberta Film Festival. Through his work, Ben hopes to tell stories that provide audiences with new and unexpected perspectives on the world.
