Promotes and encourages all activities related to the world of Cinema, including through TV, Streaming, Theatre, the Web, and Social Media.

Purposes:
In collaboration with public and private entities, the spreading of culture, cinematographic and artistic production, and of the audiovisual works submitted every year to the Festival.
Organize happenings, shows, events, and exhibitions related to the Audiovisual, Artists, and Cultural sector at national and international levels through the Festival;
Bring together and promote the training of people and artists of any age and social background involved in creative film and audiovisual production;
Create works connected to the world of Cinema, Art, Photography, and Culture in general.

'Ostia International Film Festival'

OIFF promuove, favorisce e divulga ogni attività relativa al mondo del cinema, anche attraverso la TV, lo streaming, il teatro, il web, i social media. 

Obiettivi:
+contribuire, in collaborazione con soggetti pubblici e privati, alla promozione ed alla diffusione della cultura, della produzione cinematografica ed artistica ed diffusione delle opere audiovisive che partecipano annualmente al Festival;
+organizzare attraverso il Festival, rassegne, manifestazioni, eventi e mostre relative al settore Audiovisivo, Artistico e Culturale in ambito nazionale ed internazionale;
+riunire e promuovere la formazione di persone ed artisti di qualsiasi età ed estrazione sociale interessate alla produzione cinematografica ed audiovisiva creativa;
Realizzare opere collegate al mondo del cinema, dell’Arte, della fotografia e della cultura in generale.

Rules & Terms


1. ELIGIBILITY FEATURE FILM / SHORT FILM / DOCUMENTARY/ Animated Features.
The submitted Movies must have the following requirements:
a) Length
FEATURE FILM/WEB SERIES/ANIMATED FEATURES – max 130’00” length (one hundred and thirty minutes/seconds), including the Credits;
SHORT FILM – max 30’00” length (thirty minutes / zero seconds), including the Credits;
DOCUMENTARY – max 30’00” length (thirty minutes / zero seconds), including the Credits;
b) Production Release
The submitted Feature Films, Short Films, and Documentaries must have been produced not earlier than January 1, 2025 (for Production Date is intended the ending of the moviemaking and the post-production is intended);
c) Languages
If the movie is in a foreign language (excluding Italian), it must have Italian or English Subtitles.

If “Not Accepted,” the Movie’s Entry Fee will not be refunded. In case of disqualification for failure to meet the requirements a), b), and c), the Entry Fee will not be refunded.

2. ENTRY FEE
All the Participants must provide an Entry Fee of:
€ 10,00 (twenty-five /euros) for each FEATURE FILM submission.
€ 10,00 (fifteen /euros) for each SHORT FILM submission.
€ 10,00 (fifteen /euros) for each DOCUMENTARY submission.
€ 10,00 (fifteen /euros) for each ANIMATED FILM submission.
€ 10,00 (fifteen /euros) for each WEB SERIES submission.

After filling out the ENTRY FORM, the registration process will be complete by paying the Entry Fee through the “Ostia Film Festival” PayPal account.
For the Submission of several MOVIES, please follow the same procedure.
Important – Please save the Bill of payment and/or the PayPal receipt and email it with the subject “Receipt of payment to OIFF”.
Please save it. Will be requested.

3. PRIZES AND JURY
The OIFF Committee will select the best Movies for the Final Stage.
In the Final Stage, a Special Jury will choose among those preselected Movies at its own judgment the Winners.
The choices of the Special Jury are not changeable.
The Special Jury will be announced before the deadline expires.
The Festival Winners and those deserving of Special Mention will be known at the Gala Night.

The ones who have been selected for the Gala Night of the screening will be previously informed by e-mail or telephone and requested to fill out a detailed work Checklist (Synopsis, Cast / technical, Production Notes, etc.), enclosing various additional materials (such as the poster, promotional photos, trailers, etc.) required at that time.

4. OPEN COMPETITION
The #OstiaIFF Competition is an Open Festival, as the biggest and most important festival in the World.
Each of the submitted Movies will be listed on the Official Web Page of the Festival and on Facebook.
